Those pens are soooo beautiful! You can tell how much Shu-jen respects both the art and the artists behind the art.

Fantastic interview! I've enjoyed Taccia for a while, but getting to meet Shu-jen Lin at the Taccia booth at a pen show really elevated my love for this brand. I'm a casual-looking shopper, and probably don't look like I can afford any of these gorgeous high-level pens, but nevertheless she gave me her earnest attention and was so helpful about making sure I was completely satisfied with my stay at the booth. One-woman company indeed! I was blown away to receive such warm care from her.
As for the pens themselves, they are so refreshing and fun. As a woman, I'm immensely grateful to see these artistic pens guided by the eyes and heart of another woman. I do not seek pens that are overtly "girly," but I do seek pens that aren't afraid to be colorful and joyful and poppy -- what feels like a rarity in the world of serious, traditional urushi pens. I'll continue to watch and support Taccia enthusiastically!

It was so fun meeting Shu-Jen, I was grateful to be able to hold those beautiful pens-especially the anniversary edition! Exquisite. I think she helped get my family more into fountain pens too (I’m still working on it).

I don't know if I could ever spend that much on a pen, but for a fashion accessory (like a Judith Lieber purse) maybe I could. I have completely fallen in love with the Miyabi Empress Fossils in the Sky - Raden Shadow. Thank you Daisy and Shu-Jen for sharing these beautiful pens with us.

I've always liked that they decided to forego an ornate nib stamping, even though I'm sure Sailor would have been perfectly willing to oblige. You'd think another manufacturer would have decided to make a sleek and simple dual tone nib stamp like that, but I've only ever seen something similar on unbranded or limited edition nibs; even the Sailor 110th anniversary pen's nib wasn't as smooth and flowy as the Taccia stamping. It's unique in its elegant simplicity.

I’m very fond of Taccia. I first learned to like the brand when I bought the Spectrum and then the Spotlight. Later, I bought two other extremely expensive ($1k +) Taccia pens. I fancy a few more, but I need to wait and save because I can’t afford to buy them right now. The Mayabi Winter’s Breath and the Empress, particularly.
Sailor’s nibs on Taccia pens are a great bonus. Far better than being a Jowo nib-holder as so many modern pens are nowadays.
Btw, I think Taccia’s inks are also really good. I have four of them.
Great brand! I’m a fan. And so nice to see and hear Ms. Shu-jen talk about her brand and products.

I was introduced to Taccia by their incredibly beautiful inks. The colors and ink qualities are just amazing. They are the same company, no? Hope you will do another video about the Taccia Ukiyo-e inks and others- even if they are not the same 😂.

Wow, what artistry. I'm reluctant to buy really fancy pens because I do think of them as writing instruments and not accessories. I also worry about breaking / damaging really nice pens. Maybe it would be easier for me to start with one of the lower priced TACCIA pens like Spotlight (but you didn't talk about those in the video). Is it true that Shu-Jen grew up in Taiwan?
