A good presentation. I have a cooks manual mill, purchased to. Feed my hardwood furniture hobby. At 92, I’m having trouble keeping up with mill production

Thanks for the video. I'm finally going to pick mine up in early March after a 20-month wait. I'm watching all of the informative videos I can find these days, LOL.

I use (used cooking oil mix with a little diesel fuel)

That is a nice saw. I would have gotten the same one except I could not wait 75 weeks. I lucked out and bought a WM 50 wide w/ diesel.
I’m really enjoying your channel. I also have a farmi 501 wench, but don’t use it these days. Thanks for showing us your operation

Nice video. Thanks for your efforts! I also have a 3238 and have changed several things over the past 2 years. You don't show a real-time saw cut, so I'm not sure what ft/min you are using to advance the sawhead. I've not been satisfied with band breakage, but the mill is definitely solidly constructed and the hydraulics work well. It needs an electronic throttle control, but I'm hoping to make something for it this year. Look forward to more videos.

What are the things you change on the mill? I just ordered one.

I'm 33 and have a cheap woodland mill. I am debating on the HD 3238 or ac36. I'm almost sold on the HD but that go bigger has me wanting the ac36.

It all depends on what you are going to mill. If you are not going to cut anything bigger then 24 inches then the smaller one will work fine. Anything bigger than that and it starts being a pain.
