i love watching your videos🤗 it makes me so happy to see hair like mine. something about taking care of our hair is so special. so peaceful. i was wearing my fro but it gets so hot here in the south that i just put some twists in. i love it. i wear them for two/three weeks and wash them and retwist it. it takes me about three hours to take each one down and twist it back up. oh and i do braid at the root then twist. maybe that’s why it takes me three hours☹️ but this is the easiest hairstyle ever!!! and there are less knots😊

I went natural in 2022 and my hair is now almost lower back length! The best way to retain length is just to do a protective style and leave it alone for a few months. But when removing the protective style, I always blow dry and give myself a trim since I know those ends will be crying for help 😂
Unfortunately my mixed 4B/4C hair doesn’t like twists so I can only do braids 😢

@@Tyiece Ah yes the plateau phase is definitely annoying…but you’re doing great! In no time your hair will get to a healthy bra strap length 😊. My hair didn’t grow that fast…I went fully natural in 2022, but I transitioned for a year and a half before that 😅

Your twists look great after washing. Mine were really easy to undo retwist if needed but surprisingly looked like locs lol
