@@manniebradley3768 just some people get triggered that way the thing is it’s like it’s been in college that they’ve had blind test and that’s just something to you know have a argument about when it’s totally been proven that people could read that no matter what. This is talk text also so it doesn’t put in the periods and all those things necessarily, but it’s interesting because I can look at something and somebody could have really bad English and I could read it. Somebody could actually spell things backwards and sideways and I could figure it out and then that has something to do with a brain.

Gotta love the constant flit of wing sounds. I really hate wizards for making a pet that makes constant noise.
If you mute your opponent, it should mute their companion noises too x. That, or there's an advanced setting for it now instead.

11:21 It would have been better for you, Crim, to wait until the Anchorage attacked since it creates a Map token with its ability. If you had done that, since the land is a creature, Tidebender would have made it lose all abilities and effectively mana screws your opponent.
11:21 Fun fact: if you want to be really annoying, you should play tishana's tidebinder when the mad land attack and trigger it's abilities. So when it becomes a land it won't even add mana

Man I love how you are always playing crazy brews. THIS is what magic is about to me having a bunch of fun with really dumb interactions. So refreshing since it seams like everyone just copies the same decks over and over.

I've been wanting to make a standard merfolk deck like this myself. I am pretty new to magic, so I do not know how to make a deck (at least well) yet. The only thing is I want to play a deck like this on tabletop with my friends. I was wondering if there are any sort of replacements for Cavern of Souls, Vodalian Hexcatcher, and Tishana's Tidebinder, as those are the most pricey cards of the deck. It is more of the cavern of souls that is just out of my budget currently. Any thoughts as to maybe how I should build a standard merfolk deck?
I wouldn't worry too much about having the exact cards if you can't afford them. Cavern of souls is nice because it prevents your merfolk from being countered, outside of that it's just a land. I've messed with merfolk a bit. I brewed up a whacky blue/black/green deck that focuses using dicover for mill and descend buffs. It's not super merfolk focused but most the games I've won against my friends are because of drawing them or fetching the combo from my deck. Cards I'd recommend for a snowball if you get them all on board: "Nicanzil, Current Conductor", "Hakbal of the Surging Soul" and "Sentinel of the Nameless City" (this card works great with descend, at least in my experience.), and Jadelight Spelunker . I've found they're pretty great cards to build around. They ramp, they grow, they draw, they mill, it's great. Those cards alone on board win games. I'd recommend other cards to get them on board and safely and keep them there over other merfolk that just can explore once like cenote scout. I haven't done much research into other merfolk but I'm sure there's a couple other good ones to throw in. Hell go all merfolk for max deck theme, just have fun (:
Stuff like scry and other cards that let you see the top and move them also are really good with merfolk so you can control your explores

I think there is a temur version of this deck that plays magmatic galloen as temival soell and a way to tap our merfolk to trigger the pilgrimage alongside subterranean schooner this is hownyou endnup really really wide and gurthy
