Believe it or not God wants love like everyone else. But his nature his pure and anything that isnt pure cannot be in his presence. And since we ourselves gave up our pureness God in his love paid the price that we owe in order to be able to be pure through the blood of Christ. And with God there is no double jeopardy because Jesus paid the price we dont have to pay it but the thing is you have to accept that he paid the price otherwise you have to pay it on your own. Coming out of jail after doing 3 years and finding God and Jesus and embracing fellowship and having a more humbled and open understanding of Christianity; the third verse really made me sad but at the same time I experienced peace & joy just now.

I am 16 I related to the second story with my ex boyfriend. &right after he left me, I found out I was pregnant. &I felt so completely alone and was deathly afraid of telling my family&friends. Especially the ones from my church. But as soon as I told everyone, I was immediately surrounded but love and support. It restored my faith in God & in people. &now I have a beautiful daughter who will grow up in the church surrounded by love & I honestly have never been happier. :)

The first part of this song was EXACTLY how I felt growing up in foster care, the last verse is what God spoke into my heart and got me through. I spent a number of years as an assistant chaplain in one of the largest jails in this country. The third verse really resonated, particularly as I have been privileged to see it in real life. One inmate later wrote me a letter saying, "I will never again be out of the DOJ, but I am now a free man." It is a shame it took him being locked up with three life sentences to find love, forgiveness, and freedom.

I found Jesus when I heard this song. My friend Rielly Mikrut told me about Jesus. I was lost in life and ran with the devil. I was addicted to amphetamines and opiates. While listening to this song I cried and asked Jesus to save me from myself and in that moment I felt God's presence come over me and I flushed the drugs down the toilet. This song always brings me to tears. I relate to the first verse a lot and I'll never forget the first time I ever heard it. I was dealing with the issues at home and it was about 5 am. I went into the car in my pjs and everything just to get away from my parents and I was feeling so incredibly lost and I remember turning on the radio to this song. I started crying my eyes out and I never heard the song again until a long long while later when I opened up to a friend about what happened and she just so happened to know exactly which song it was and who sang it. I listen to it so often now. Its so beautiful and its helped me draw closer to god.

I was just thinking of how to express to this young woman that has gone through the unspeakable with her own father having raped her, a drug dependent absent mother and no one ever showing her love without contingency.... and this old favorite came to mind.
Prayers please for my special very beautiful young friend who had yet another huge obstacle placed upon her. She is pregnant and dedicated to loving her child unconditionally and has just learned this unborn may have Down’s syndrome.

I felt extremle loney one day as i drove. I fell unwanted and unloved. I turned to your song for inspiration.
Then my iphone cut out and this slideshow appeared on my phone.. it was the pictures from my last visit home before my mom died.
I did not make the slideshow..yet here it played before me with a haunting tune..there was my boyhood home. There were pics of my dad and brother's grave..it ended with a pic of my mom.

In bible we read that there`s really no such thing as "one true love" .
Therefore why do we mate? - to multiply the earth.
Is mating something we all must do? - NO. Only enough that mankind won`t die out.
Why each and everyone had given reproductive tools then? - We all have temporary lives here, everyone can die at every moment.
We can`t mate with blood shares (family members) otherwise we will create THE INBREEDS. (Inbriiding (Inbreeding)
Child + adult = wrong choice also. For we were created conscious beings (beings who know and understand right and wrong).
Therefore supporting child + adult mating = are we insane? (mentally sick).
There is time given to be a child (up to 20 years) and time to be an adult (20 - 120 years).
We are humans - created by GOD in His image. Now what that means? - being created in 3 parts (SPIRIT + SOUL + BODY = LIVING SOUL /ALIVE HUMAN).
In short: We are conscious beings clothed into carnal but finally changed into fully spiritual, that means= all 3 parts are spiritual. the body also. For it is carnal now but spiritual later and that forever.
Therefore what matters about human lives: the way we live it and our characters.
That`s the way i see it.
We dont know all of that because we don`t read the one book that is filled with that spiritual knowledge = THE BIBLE (1611 KJV).

I came across this song a while back, in my search for what it feels like to be loved by another, trying to understand what love really means.
I have never known love, my whole life I have never been shown love.
My family never had time for me. I had and still have no friends.
My first wife who I thought loved me stepped outside the marriage 6 months into the marriage.
My second wife turned out to be a Narcissist. Very evil!
I am 52 years old and have never known love, outside of what I give to others.
I would give about anything to know what it's like to be loved for me, to know what love feels like, what love really means.
What does it feel like to be loved by someone? Loved the way God loves?
It always hurts to sympathize with a song this much. It means you or someone you love has been in or is in the insane and heartbreaking places that the songwriter had to go to get here. But since we live in this world, I am so glad we have JJ Hellers. God is kind. JJ's music is a kindness.
Every time I listen to this song I cry because I remember the feeling of being unloved by people who were supposed to love me in foster care. Listen to this song helped me realize that no matter what people tell me I am loved and a daughter of the King.
Kind of off topic but I remember the day I adopted my first cat, the shelter was filled with cats stuffed in these little cages. I could just imagine them all singing this song, waiting for someone to come and take them home. It breaks my heart to think about it.

I just got back from my Christian camp. And the had a deep skit where there were 3 people kneeling with Jesus behind them and at each part of the song when of the time was right one of them would lift up their head and act out the person that was being song about. Be patient and know that, while you are waiting, God is working in the life of the person who is meant to love you (a parent, a future girlfriend, a friend, etc.) Keep in mind that God is molding you, just as He is molding the heart that is meant to love you. We once did a youth group activity many years ago (2004?) where we had to hold the hands of someone in the group and repeat several passages and forgive them for their sins. The man whose hands I held was much older than I and became teary eyed as I read the passages and he said to me at the end, "Thank you for forgiving me". This gives me chills to this day because I still remember his expression... All I could think about was he did things that were so terrible that he never thought he would find forgiveness. Here I am, just some HS graduate he didn't know who said, "I do forgive you" and maybe that gave him peace. It's incredible. Anyway, just wanted to share.
So blessed to know the one who made me be me, Only Jesus has shown me what love really means. Love Him so much for His unfailing Love.

Whom deserves Christlike love? I've been treated by the ignoramus and thrown into a den of addicts whose care was not for kindness but their next cigarette. It is rare to find a soul truly rebirthed in Jesus. But in finding my soulmate, a former meth addict, I have discovered an empathy (and blessing!) that would have been impossible without him. This song is helping me on my journey to have rediscovered God in my heart and life. I wen thorough something that made me feel as though I couldn’t have a relationship with God anymore, but I realize that after 4 years of feeling unworthy, unloveable, and undeserving, that I am none of those things to God. God loves me and my relationship has become more meaningful to me after the hardship. I realized that God was still there for me all along. All it took for me to remember that was one simple call of prayer to God and express how tired I was for not being the person God has always wanted me to be. Kind, loving, helping people to know and understand they matter. That they are here for a reason and they are loved. Spread the light and the love of God in your heart, God is always going to be there. ❤️
I was recently introduced to this song and upon following the lyrics I remember thinking, "Wow, that was really amazing and touching." I am certain nearly all of us, at one time or another, have experienced moments when we've sat down and honestly wondered, "Does anyone truly love me?" Or, perhaps you've thought, "If only this or that was different in my life, than people would truly love me." I believe that is why it is so important for all of us to seek out good wherever we can find it, and especially in the eyes, faces, hopes and dreams of all our fellow residents of this planet. the church pianist sang this song I cried and prayed. He's seen my ugliness and lives me. He has cept me alive and unscared from anything. I know he has a plan I've seen the signs and know he puts me through what I've been through to help others.
I remember when this song came out, it couldn't have come at a more perfect time. It's a long back story to it, but when I first heard it, I was already about as low as it could possibly have gotten in my life, unemployed, homeless, and my relationship had just ended. Furious w/ God for a few years over personal matters. The weight of everything bearing down was too much for me to handle, but when this song played, I shattered and cried out for help.... I felt the weight lift, then happiness and peace filled me. Since then, my faith was not only renewed, but made so much more stronger. Now I do my best to give what I can to him and in return, I wait patiently for many things, to include a future working in my career field and to start over again w/ someone, amongst other things. God bless all, stay strong through the ups and downs and when things seem the hardest, remember who carries you through it :)

I believe in God, and I have felt alone, but when I was at my darkest I truly did feel alone. No sound from my soul no words from above. Just silence... it was hard at first to live in the darkness. Then I realized I must be there for myself, believe in myself before God can show it. If you look in the mirror and see someone then you are wrong and God is not turning away but giving you the hint that you see Him looking right back at you with open arms. So like believe in yourself and you will never be alone for He always will be walking with you.
I obsessed with the idea that there is someone out there who are willing to love me unconditionally, I mean, kind of a partner. That's why when I heard this song for the first time and tons of times after, the lyric "who will love me for me" came again and again in my head as an incantation. The way I perceived that song was different, it isn't about God at all but a truly soulmate. I kept thinking of one day, some guy would come to me, tolerate for all my mistakes and stay with me for good. But, the never-end- love makes me a bit unbelieve, sounds film-making. the first part of this song!! oh my!!! my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 5 years and her song " I know who you are" has helped me so much! Recently we have been considering adoption, we are not sure how we will come up with the legal funds and I have been pushing it to the back of my mind for that reason, and selfishly I want one of our own 😢 but it has weighed so heavy on my heart lately! I ran across this song by pure accident tonight and I heard the first part and it honestly felt like a sign! I don't know how, when or where but I know I will have to put my trust in God for only he knows!! Prayers are appreciated in our journey!!
First time hearing this on the local Christian radio made me cry due to some hardship in my life and not feeling like I really had people that truly cared about me and not being really close to God. Months later life still isn't the greatest and worrying about losing my job due to a stupid mistake that I got dragged into hasn't been helping. But I found some people that I feel like care about me now so it has improved some for me and I'm trying to live more of a Christian Life and listen to what God wants me to do.

I can say with all my heart, I have never known a live like the love God has for me. I make mistakes, I do stupid things and through it all he protects me, provides for me and keeps answering my prayers. That is true love. I don't feel I deserve it sometimes, but God loves me for me.
