They threatened me with comment cancelation, They didn't even tell me why, but told me if I do it again I'll be barred from commenting. WTF? You-Tube SUCKS!
They've done that to me too. Then they want me to renew my premium membership which I canceled because of their censorship. Plus they want me to signup for TY TV. Nope.

It is their platform, so the first amendment actually guarantees them to keep whoever they want off of their program.

The internet was built with taxpayer money. The tech that runs it was created with taxpayer money. The transmission of online communication is paid for with taxpayers money. The companies that provide it enjoy government protections funded with taxpayer money. If the first amendment (separation of church and state) applies anywhere that gets taxpayer money (schools, public spaces) then it also applies (freedom of speech) to anywhere built and serviced with taxpayer money. Can't have it both ways. Well unless you're a Democrat.

CZcams is all automated and they have systems that can identify objects in images/frames. That's what we've been training every time we filled out a captcha. I'm guessing an automated system must have picked up on the shape of a fun in your livestream and shut it down. As far as the actual policy goes, I don't know if it cares about context and whether or not you're showing a past video in the stream.
You Tube should be regulated just like any other public utility.

I’m considering doing a daily video of me flipping off CZcams. I’d have do a ton of different variations just to “keep things fresh”.
Maybe it's time to go to another platform. Rumble, Patreon, etc.
We have *GOT* to get a better system going. This battle has been going on for several years and it's getting worse; I can only imagine the kind of crackdowns we're going to see over the next couple of months. I know content creators need to make money, but seems like there just has to be a platform everybody could get behind, like Rumble, but with some kind of support for moneteztion, that is on our side.
Those policies are not so much against guns but to prevent people from shooting themselves on live video streams

HR, you are not alone. I know guy, who knows a guy that got his entire content pulled and all he had on his channel were primitive weapons and their components. I hope you are not counting on the revenue CZcams provides, because that is a deal with the devil. Rumble, Patreon, and X are the best at getting content out that will not be Removed.There are rules but far from the garbage CZcams pulls on people.
You tube is loosing $900 a year just from me not buying youtube tv. When they let us exercise are 2nd ammendment right I will purchase there tv programm

I dont mind following the house rules yknow, but when its done so arbitrarily, with constant shifting rules, and very poor communication on their part- it makes it very hard to follow the house rules.
Duelist1954 (he has had a bad fall and is out of commission for awhile) sometimes posts two versions of his gun modification vids, one on CZcams and the full version on Rumble, as YT doesn't allow these types of vids, EVEN THOUGH Mike is just putting a new sight on a black powder, vintage gun, for example.
This is like the rules in certain areas, like Leftist Chapel Hill, NC where it is illegal to display a firearm.
no surprise here. .youtube has dozens - maybe hundreds - of rules they won't tell us. .i've even been kicked off for quoting a statement made by one of youtube's darlings, bette midler! .keep on truckin!
If you dig deep enough you can find their rules. UNDERSTANDING them is another matter entirely.
I understand the gun tubers reluctance to move to other platforms, but insist it can and must be done. It would be a momentary light affliction that in the long run would be to everyone's advantage.
Before they go out of business I wonder if YT will realize that I am here for content creators. Not to buy movies, music, or any other BS. They make revenue from advertisements off the back of creators because people watch the creators. The platform is irrelevant without content creators. They are following the My Space path to oblivion, so it goes.
One of the most informative CZcams channels ans they kicked you off? I have pondered getting into the CZcams video world but events like this turn my gut.
I hope they correct this mess with your channel. IMHO, your channel is by far one of the most enjoyable an informative channels on here.

I think maybe you tube could start a special type of channel(?) or area for people that want to participate in a chat or channel about firearms and associated topics and would be allowed to watch without restrictions FX has shows that have content I would have considered porn when I was a teenager. ( Sorry to date myself). No restrictions on TV. The parents are the only thing stopping a younger person..
