1) Vakratunda Mahakaya Ganesh Shlok
वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा
वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा
Vakra-Tunndda Maha-Kaaya Suurya-Kotti Samaprabha |
Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Kaaryessu Sarvadaa ||
Meaning:
1: (Salutations to Sri Ganesha) Who has a Curved Trunk, Who has a Large Body and Whose Splendour is similar to Million Suns;
2: O Deva, Please Make my Undertakings Free of Obstacles, By extending Your Blessings in All my Works, Always.
2) Karaagre Vasate Lakshmi (It is a morning prayer for every day.)
कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मिः करमध्ये सरस्वति ।
करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ॥
Karaagre Vasate Lakssmih Karamadhye Sarasvati |
Karamuule Tu Govindah Prabhaate Karadarshanam ||
Meaning:
1: At the Top of the Hand (i.e. Palm) Dwell Devi Lakshmi and at the Middle of the Hand Dwell Devi Saraswati, 2: At the Base of the Hand Dwell Sri Govinda; Therefore one should Look at one's Hands in the Early Morning and contemplate on Them.
3) Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu
Meaning:Guru is verily the representative of Brahma, Vishnu andShiva. He creates, sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of ignorance. I salute such a Guru.
4) Gayatri Mantra
ॐ भूर् भुवः स्वः
तत् सवितुर्वरेण्यं
भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि
धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्
Gayatri Mantra meaning
O, Divine mother, our hearts are loaded up with darkness. Kindly make this darkness distant from us and advance brightening inside us.
5) Shubham Karoti Kalyanam
शुभं करोति कल्याणमारोग्यं धनसंपदा ।
शत्रुबुद्धिविनाशाय दीपज्योतिर्नमोऽस्तुते ॥
Shubham Karoti Kalyaannam-Aarogyam Dhana-Sampadaa |
Shatru-Buddhi-Vinaashaaya Diipa-Jyotir-Namostute ||
Meaning:
1: (Salutations to the Light of the Lamp) Which Brings Auspiciousness, Health and Prosperity,
2: Which Destroys Inimical Feelings; Salutations to the Light of the Lamp.
