Just turn it in your hand to straighten it. Had one for years, never had a problem. As it gets worn it loses its spring tension, take it apart and re-tension it. It's best to mark the lead about 2 feet from fully extended so you can lock it before the stitched anchor is reached, and always let them dry fully extended or they will weaken left coiled up and wet. It doubles as a self defence tool as well, especially the Professional 10 metre 50kg version, it's getting on for 900 grams.
LOLZ... Good protection tool! So is a Doberman and steel toe wellies. I have another of the same lead now and the stitched loop at the end is shorter, so doesn't come out far when it hits the end. ... So, it's never jammed once! 👍.

Thank you. And sorry for the delay. My inbox is not working, I just went through my recent videos and then thought a check on most popular might be needed. Flexi were meant to send me a new design to test! However, they sent the same🙄. But when I totally unravel it, the stitches loop at the end is actually smaller, so I don't think it will jam. It might be random variations in the model. I emailed back saying I was under the impression that I was to receive a new design as shown in their email to me.... but heard nothing back. I will try once more,,, then just start using the new one they sent. This on is getting a little frayed. There are other brands that do a retractable lead with a brake as well as lock. But only 5 metres. I really want a 10m with brake! Cheers 🐕
@@AOKUrbanHomestead1 I do see a couple on a particular walk... they have a little fluffy terrier and they got one of these after seeing mine. They do like it too. Maybe not too much of the down points with smaller less bonkers dogs! 🐕

Maybe the office is shut due to the virus. But it's strange. So I await some news and the one they sent is stashed for now at least, incase they want it back. It might be a random variation of where the stitching is at the reel end. As in the one I have now, jams more than my old one, and the stitching comes out further than my old one. The new one they sent, the stitching does not come out the end. So I don't know if that is the new design. .. but why send a picture of a different lead all together? So who blummin knows! Cheers 👍👊🐕

Hey Bruce!! Grace says Hey 👋 I use the 30-35’ Flexi. It twists too, however as it rewinds it straitens out. Maybe once in awhile I need to twist it once to get it perfect.
