The point being, Loreen´s song is certainly good. But as someone who values X lungs over pretty much anything, I´m 100% convinced she didn´t deserve n1, nor Pastora n10. And this is just the umpteenth occasion this politicized, sorry ass excuse for a "contest", proves to be nothing but FAIR.

Well she had really fought for this performance to be exactly the way she wanted and there were many in her own Swedish delication who tried to say this or that should be changed about it but she kept her views and I imagine and that moment she felt so relieved and proud that the audience loved her performance and her faith in her own views and intuition was rewarded 😊
Thats one big thing that sets Loreen apart from many other artists, she has the talent and imagination to to visually design the setting/stage and what kind of movements she should make and what she should wear etc.
If one doesnt know about these things, you might only think she is just grear singer and performer but she is so much more.
Lucky are the ones who get to know her because she truly is very special artist and person

@@soo3646 Indeed she is 😄plus Ive been totally amazed how she has changed from quite reserved and bit shy woman to person who is just so darn friendly and loving and funny all the time and with everybody she meets...I hadnt really followed her career after she won Eurovision in 2012, so I was taken completely by surprise how she had changed from 11 years ago because to me Loreen from 2012 and Loreen from 2023 are almost like two different persons the way she express herself now vs then.
I mean ofc I do believe that people can change overtime as they grow older and I dont mean that there was nothing wrong with Loreen before, its just totally suprised me that nowdays she doesnt seem one bit reserved or shy as she did back then in 2012 😄 But I guess since her career didnt really start until 2012 that when everything was so new to her, she opened up bit by bit over the years, and now she is not one bit afraid to speak her mind and be this funny and goofy person 😄 It was such amazing thing to see and Im really glad she did return because otherwise she would have been under my radar likely forever, now Im even listening to her other songs and really want to see where she goes from here with her career!
@Balnazzardi Its kinda the same for me, i haven't been following her after 2012 even though i was obsessed with euphoria but i was too young and had no particular music taste, so listening to her songs now I know that i wouldn't understand her music back then, and now.....im just so grateful that she came back to eurovision so i rediscovered her as an artist for myself and im so happy about it 😭 she delivers her vision and music perfectly and i realize that i have found my person, i feel the connection. Stars aligned, she's there, she she didn't lie 😂
And yeah she seems to be more confident and playful i loooove that but i think yes she was more reserved but she was never afraid of speaking her mind. I've read she was the only contestant taking actions for Azerbaijans human rights during esc 2012, they threatened to disqualify her but she kept going.
The important thing is that her mindset, her values did not change through time. She still says all those wise deep things she've been saying since 2012. She's great, i have huge respect for her.

Ofc like any artist she wants to tour and connect with her fans but she seems very humble about it and isnt trying to force herself to become big for example in USA, but mainly tours in Europe. But I really do hope she does well here in Europe atleast and has still long and successful career ahead of her

This show is the perfect example of "less is more". It is just her standing on the floor, making some simple dance movements. No sophisticated choreography, no extravagant outfit, no complex visual effects, no violinist, no saxo-guy, no ice skater... just her, her elegant and perfectly syncronized movements, her delicate kimono fltoagin around and a dancer that appears just at the end. Yet, the show is hyptonizing.

I remember watching this. When Loreen entered the stage, I could see on everyones faces how shook they became. No one else was going to win that night. It was over before it even started.
It’s a small thing, but I’ve really come to appreciate the lighting (or lack of lol) in this performance. It makes Loreen look mysterious and ethereal.

Someone told me her 2012 song was almost identical to her 2023 song, and I couldn’t disagree more. They’re completely different. It’s a shame seeing so many people diminishing the success of this incredible woman, in an attempt to Uplift finland. we shouldn’t tear down someone to uplift another
Completely agree as Finn. You dont have to like Tattoo, but its just bullcrap to say it would be identical to this or that that Tattoo would be copy of some other song.
But you know thats Eurovision, almost every year you things like that, this year it was perhaps bit louder because so many ppl wanted Käärijä to win.
So as Finn Im not okay with those ppl accusing Loreen because you know then Loreen fans understandably direct their anger to us/Käärijä. And its even more shame because Käärijä and Loreen get along so well.
Personally I had no problems whatsoever for Loreen winning and she does deserve love and respect for her work and her attitude. For her audience is everything and she is very friendly and loving towards others and is not egoistic at all.
So ye I can be happy for her even though ofc it would have been great to see Käärijä win and bring Finland out 2nd ever victory in Eurovision but in sense Käärijä did win and gained the most out of anyone from this competition. So ppl should always remember that and put things in perspective.

Completely agree as someone who wanted Finland to win. Tattoo was incredible, but my personal opinion was Cha Cha Cha captured the world for a moment. I listen to both songs daily

Harry Williams Nanana, you should listen a bit more careful. This was clearly live. It has possibly some effects on her microphone and she uses backing vocalists but this is nothing new. Everyone does that.

As I said before, it is possible to use microphone effects which makes for example echoic sounds. She's still performing live. That's even the rule, you have to perform live.

I agree. It's a great song (one of my favourite ESC songs of all time) but her vocal performance is also what won this for her. I can't imagine many people being able to sing a difficult song like this perfectly live while dancing, too.

Ofc with Euphoria its her voice and this performance that made it all the more amazing but its also nice song to listen to even from radio, nightclub, wherever. Tattoo however only works for me if I see Loreen performing it and even then mainly with the staging she had in Eurovision. Euphoria is amazing even without all of that

По-моему, она должна быть на 1 месте уже из-за того, что у неё такой сильный голос. У финна его нет вообще. А Евровидение-это все-таки музыкальный конкурс.

There are many videos out there which analyse metal/rock singers' vocals and how difficult it is to maintain them. Singing is not about reaching high notes only
