Smart Home Solver - I did, but I just guessed where I would put it, and I was correct! I have hidden mine ever since I had cameras. The one exception is two of my cameras that I have in my front yard. I want to let people know that I have security in my home. I also have two other cameras in my from yard that are very difficult to spot, so if someone decides to disable the obvious cameras, I will still have footage with the hidden ones.

The two issues I see with some of these examples is how to hide the cords and, in the case of wireless, battery life. You can hide a camera, but it’s hard to hide a cord running 30 feet.

To anyone that disagrees with hiding cameras. Remember that in some places where crime is high, most robbers will come with face fully covered and all you'll have is a vid with a masked robber taking your cams first. I been burgled twice and I know it's someone that knows me,

The stuffed animal. I am a former agent that worked on all types of ground sensors including the Buckeye system which emails us when something passes by. We use Bird Houses, Electrical boxes that are fake as well as other techniques. Now, as for the stuffed animal, if you were to use black screen mesh where you match the "normal eye" by painting a white pattern so the post eyes will look the same, at least from a distance. The way you have it, well, I believe it can be spotted pretty easily, IMHO.
I bet if you add the mesh with the same exact paint pattern as the "GOOD EYE", you will see a big difference. The mesh (as long as you don't spray it too think) will blend in perfectly. Thanks for you video.

What if your camera has a motion alarm or warning that says “
“ You are trespassing! You are on camera! Leave now ! “ with something to that affect. The camera is mounted up high on a light pole where it is inaccessible, but would it be wise to expose to the burglar / trespasser that they have been recorded, or would it be smarter to turn the warning off? My thoughts are the trespassers may want to try and destroy the camera, or property in retaliation, and they would have a chance to prepare an alibi for why they were on the property possibly. What does everyone think? Thanks

My landlord breaks into my apartment every night and especially when I’m out. He puts dimes on my bed, goes through my purse every night. Luckily, he didn’t steal my money. However, he’s a 53 year old married man. He’s stalking me too! Yesterday, he drove past me as I stepped one foot from my place. He does yard work to harass me. I just ordered 2 cameras.

Good video! I got some ideas for the indoor cameras I'll be setting up. I have an Arlo Pro, with a dark brown skin, mounted in an oak, by my driveway. Some stranger pulled up one morning, set off my notification, and I came around the garage, phone in hand. The guy was out of his truck, and said, "Are you taking pictures of me?" (Hey idiot, it's MY driveway.) I told him no, he just tripped the alarm. The camera was recording him the moment he drove in, and he had no clue. I don't even want the jokers getting to my front door.

It's the 4th time he harrass me, the 1st time he said to me a doctor to clear my throat after he heard me coughing, I was in the sidewalk; the 2nd time, he walks in front of my door and say: "I can see you" and I was inside me living room with the lights off, the 3rd time, again he walks by door and says, "I see you standing". What a jerk, what a moron. The guy does not work. Stay all day doing nothing just hanging up and down in the bldg. FPV cameras are down to 14x14 mm these days and are really cheap. They have a 3-wire connection (VCC, GND and signal) which can be hooked up to a monitor, DVR or 5.8GHz transmitter. DVR's are also very small, I have one that will fit in a match box. With a microcontroller and IR motion detector you can make it film only when needed.

What about cameras that have to be plugged in at all times? There are some bathrooms that have a fan which usually has an outlet for the fan inside the hole behind the little grate, but thats the only one i can think of
any other hiding places like this for plugged in cameras?

I have recently installed a very small camera in the frame of a large screen TV what makes it impossible to find its number one any device designed to locate it does not work next to a large screen TV there’s too much interference from the LED screen or the plasma screen. It can be powered from an internal source of the television. And the cables that come out of the television can easily be camouflaged when they’re actually video feed going into the wall going downstairs and feeding the NVR or Dvr that they are connected to it is absolutely full proof I plan on doing a video on installing multiple cameras in a plasma TV too looking forward and the other two looking left and right and of course everything has audio

Prevent problems! I disagree with hiding cameras .. the more obvious they are the less likely of a negative event. Instead, I use cameras as a deterrent, an albatross of prevention .. LOL its crossed my mind to place blinking LED lights to illuminate them at night.
I'm am not interested in stealthily catching somebody in the act of doing something, but instead preventing it all together. Think about it.

D Jaquith Very good point! I just feel like ppl are going to do what they want to & hiding cameras or anything else gives you the element of surprise. A lot of crimes happen between ppl that know each other.

      Just Trying To Tell You
People love to show off their stuff, so hidden to people you know idea kind of goes out the window. I would easily surmise given the choice between a target with vs without obvious surveillance even acquaintances, friends or you name it will go for the easiest target and those without surveillance or without apparent surveillance.
In any case, you can certainly have some hidden Cameras.

Hmm .. if the intruder tries to destroy the camera you'll get a really good close-up of their face. I certainly can understand having some hidden cameras in addition to the obvious ones. In any case, having both higher resolution cameras with night vision and cloud real-time recording; e.g. Ring and Nest.

    Use RADAR SCATTERING NETTING
What we used to do to our scopes so no glint could be seen
Make the netting drip down a little cover a whole tree in it if u have to make it less noticable put a fake tree or a nome in a GUILLIE SUIT and wrap a camera in netting
U could see through the netting because it's transparent so there's no problem with that
