CTA insiders is absolutely the best money I have spent since we started live streaming, I recommend it to any church group who wants to understand how to utilize live stream for ministry.

Hey how you doing... Have a question for you. Doing live streaming but playing a pre-recorded video and my voice is still being heard over the video... is there some sort of setting within OBS or do I need to turn off my internal microphone in my laptop. Because I got text message saying that I can be heard over a pre-recorded video during live stream from obs. Are you able to help me out

Hey Guys, thanks again for the prompt response. I have another question. We have been recording and streaming our pre-recorded church services to date to CZcams and Facebook. However, we would like to start live streaming. Our equipment so far: Canon VIXIA R800, vMix, Filmora 9, iPhone XR, 1 HDMI capture card, Lenovo Laptop (i5 8th Gen processor). Bandwidth is not so good though. How would you advise us to start live streaming? What's the ideal setup for us based on what we have so far?

test test test. You can probably get it done at 720 with your setup, but if your bandwidth is not reliable, the cutouts will occur, and live streaming may not be worth it. Set your bitrate in relation to your upload speed like we do in the video and see if you can hold a few hours live stream to test

Hey guys, you are absolutely amazing! I have learnt so much by watching you, I totally appreciate all that you have been doing. My question is this. We would like to use Zoom to livestream our church events to to CZcams and FB. However we would like to add titles and proper captions etc to our broadcast. Do you have any suggestions as to how we can do this?

Zoom is primarily a meeting platform, not a live streaming one. If you're going to want overlays, titles, lower thirds, and other such media, you'll need to invest in actual live streaming software. Check out our video on Restream, for a similar price you can get multicasting with all the titles and media and such: czcams.com/video/c7iZ3y8cPpE/video.html

Where do you create your facecam frames overlays?

We use vmix to run the stream and create boxes around the participants we bring in via NDI

too complicated to follow. My entire ministry is online. I have been using restream and going live on various channels at once and it is super simple. I would like to do more stuff but I can't find a video that makes it easy to use OBS step by step. I need it to be dumbed down, step by step, without all the tech language.
Basically press here... then press here... then set up screen to see comments....etc.
But I bet for someone who is more advanced will probably be helpful. Thaks for this.... I will follow the tutorials when I get some more knowledge about how these things work.

Hmmmm. you're giving me an idea..... in the vein of the 'for dummies' books (no offense)... like "live streaming for the pastor, administrator and chief bottle washer". :D I'm gonna noodle on that.
