Always love your street food walking tours that you do. Besides making me hungry it also makes me really miss being in Japan. Big Mahalo for bringing us along for this. 🤙😊
I love these Cultural Street Food Festivals, there’s so much vibrancy and colour when they put out their stalls. It all comes together so beautifully, and would feel so joyful and wonderful to experience it. 😊
I didn’t know I could be so jealous of a festival 😂 the food looks so amazing, 素晴らしいうまいですね
I’m so looking forward to visiting Japan again. The Mrs. and I will be there the first two weeks of October this year. The last time I was there in Japan was in November 2001 I’m way overdue😊
Thank you for the tour today John! It's great!
Thank you John so much for this! I would love to be able to go to a matsuri too while I'm in Japan and will definitely be looking up that website you mentioned! Arigatoo ❤😊
On 23:53 they also have One up Sake. Very cool!
Wow! @17:40 it was hilarious watching the gigantic portions of Yakisoba literally bursting out those containers!
That’s an entire meal for the day for only ¥600! 🤗
Damn, I am so hungry now. 😍 I love yakisoba, gyoza, karaage or yakitori.
I can't eat any because of dysphagia, but I do love the handmade corn soup they have sometimes !!
The Japanese 🇯🇵 grilled corn 🌽 with their special soya sauce is really delicious 🤤😋👍🏻👍🏻🤜🏿👍🏻👍🏻
Yes, it’s really good corn 🌽 “tomorokoshi” 😋
China also grown corn 🌽
👍👍🀄
Was it sweetened soy sauce ? 🤢
I enjoy each time You share! Great adventure🦐🦀🍣🍜
I want to buy some of those banners that you always see on street food stalls! They'd look great on my wall 😅
7:18 "JUST" grilled corn? Once you put corn on the grill it turns into candy.
“Noren” you can find them in the Kappabashi neighborhood near Asakusa in Tokyo.
Too bad I'm visiting Japan late November and early December, so no street food for me. But I like yakiniku and wagyu
Nice street fair. Enjoyed the walk around. Thank you.
I like that they put a barrier in the middle of the Tori gate timestamp 5:24 so that people do not walk in the middle. Many may not know about that and may inadvertently walk in the middle. I never knew about that until you shared that the middle was reserved for the gods. Amazing spread and lots of food. 😋 Ooo. shaved ice. Perfect for a hot day! Thank you for taking us a long!
Hi John. This food street festival until when ?
Ramuné is $3.49 for a single in Iowa.
i am in this video
Love 💕 yakisoba
pants optional? @3:52
I missed the traditional Japanese 🇯🇵 YAKISOBA, the TAI YAKI (Red-bean 🫘cake), and other yummies 😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤
Love Shrine celebrations 🎉
What i don't see is skaters skate boarders. Bicycle and such. Makes for a peaceful space to be at peace
Not in the side streets today. Also, a lot of police in the area today 👮♀️ 🇯🇵
I enjoyed seeing so many food and seeing the singers was enjoyable
Thanks John, it’s great to have you with me when exploring. Beautiful day here! 🤩 🍲 🍢
11:53 There is a local Japanese restaurant I frequent. And to honor Japanese culture, I researched dining etiquette. Every source says, Do Not Lick Chopsticks. Am I misinterpreting that rule or did you just lick sauce from your chopsticks?
Not being critical. Just trying to eliminate my confusion. I have avoided doing that in order to prevent a rule infraction. I put my hands together as if in prayer, bow, and say "itadakimas" before I eat, NEVER stick my chopsticks vertically and then leave them that way in my food (that is reserved in honor of those who have passed on), or talk without setting my chopsticks down. After I am done, I tell the Japanese chef, "gochisousama deshta!" (Well, I did that today, after having memorized it.)
People in Osaka where always shocked and laughed when i said Ookini in terrible japanese 😅
😂 hahaha still worth trying!
@@onlyinjapanGO yeah it was a nice ice breaker :)
why did that guy in the parade scene, have no pants on? Looks like he was bare butt.
