So sorry. The following comment is not an attack on Ben’s personal choices. But I would be remiss if I did not share my POV: much of Louis Vuitton screams plastic, logo-souvenir kitsch. The nightmare continues, IMO, with Pharrell Williams as creative director, men’s. It’s not even genuine leather. Just coated canvas. The pocket organizer in monogram eclipse is cute. Oh well, to each his own. I would rather invest at Jil Sander or Saint Laurent for subtle branding and a gorgeous solid black, calfskin leather tote bag that will stand the test of time 💁🏻♂️
@@periscope7731 there are leather choices within the brand. They come with a heavier price tag. The coated canvas is now their bread and butter. With Mr Williams as the creative director. He’s using more leather. But in a bad way. So far am not a fan of his style. Virgil will forever be missed. The whole brand will be too. If they continue to treat long time customers like this. Charging for a repair that was fault of the bag. Was a poor thing to do. Considering he hadn’t had the bag long.
@@periscope7731imo YSL leather is quite mid. Mr Williams has created the speedy with buttery leather! It’s like 10K though. I have to be honest, Louis Vuitton quality has not been the best so I can agree with you there!

The response from LV is absolutely shocking, especially given the price of the item initially. It’s a lot of money for pvc that broke so soon, and so for them to not only be slow to respond but also not repair it free of charge is truly awful. That third Mr Porter look was killer on you, love it! Thanks for bringing us along for your day, have a great week! x

You can dispute it with your bank and stop payment to LV. I have done it with many companies and the bank will reach out to their bank and the company has 30 days to respond to the dispute if they don't your bank will credit your account the full amount you dispute. Good luck

Genuinely concerned about luxury brands strategy: downgrading quality vs raising prices threefold is something. Maybe look into vintage items? I like the dopamine from finding a good quality item from the wishlist and getting real quality for the price 17:11

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ben, good video as usual. In regards to the "Louis Vuitton" bag, I experienced the same treatment from this brand, due to this reason I stopped purchasing anything from the LV collection. Having said that, I have purchased in the past multiple bags, suitcases, jackets, etc. for several of my aunts, nieces, and myself. However, the costumer service from them is unacceptable. Therefore, they lost a loyal costumer as well. Stay Safe & Healthy... Abrazos

pure sesame oil and toasted sesame oil (yours) are two different things. Toasted sesame oil has to be refrigerated bc it can go rancid if you don't and it's usually a finishing oil, rather than cooking oil.
The best daily multivitamin I’d recommend is Mary Ruth’s or MegaFood!
Sunday natural all in one one a day is a great multivitamin supplement!
Vitamix is the best blender by far, highly recommend

Very sad to hear Ben Taylor about your experience and the disappointing after sales service. To be honest, try to reach any other Louis Vuitton boutique.
Also, its also depending which SA are assisting you. I believe that if you can find other boutique, they will give you a new bag or any other solution like that they won't charge that amount to be able to repair your bag. Also, i don't believe they send your bag back to Paris. There are ateliers in USA to fix your bag ;-)
Primal Harvest daily multivitamin is what I have been using. Its high quality so look into it
luckily in India we don't have to do any of the chores you did in the morning, we have people to take care of everything and we never wait for staff they are available 24/7 add that to every other luxury you can think off, that's living life king size.
I strongly recommend GARDEN OF LIFE vitamins. They are food based, not synthetic, for better absorbtion.
what do you add to your espresso?
I use Surbex z vitamins, when I have a physical day, then my pee is normal color, but if I do not have enough activity, then the pee turns neon. it means the vitamins are not fully absorbed by the body.

Bummer about the bag. I thought for sure they'd fix it at no charge given that you had it not much more than a year and the nature of the damage, which looks to me too to be a materials issue and not a use issue. Somehow I think that their cost to fix the bag would be a lot less than what they wanted to charge you, and for that why not keep a good customer happy? Really makes me rethink my relationship with the brand.

put a see through tape on the crack from the inside - its not the best and nicest fix but at least you can use it as beach bag again without sand getting in

Unfortunately LV accessories and handbags are no longer hand crafted. Another reason for me to consider other luxury designers when considering a purchase.
Loewe has the best craftsmanship and the price reflects. It’s also important to note the material you’re purchasing as an expensive bag with plastic is simply not going to perform like a leather one regardless of how it’s made.

I've had a similar situation with LV, and was appalled by their response as well, not to mention the cost for repairs. Really poor form! It's actually disgraceful and totally UNACCEPTABLE. Fendi and PRADA ended up with a new client...just saying. Totaling about 75K in purchases since. Their loss, not mine! Well done for exposing them, Ben.
Just take them to a leather specialist, much cheaper, much more talented repairman

I would stop shopping at LV it’s ridiculous when you pay that much for a bag they aren’t fixing it for you, maybe you can find someone in the US that could fix it for less and then sell it

F LV...had a similar experience with them a few years ago....they will never get my money again.
Louis Vuitton should be replacing that or offering a discount at the same value as that bag and offer you a different item
