With 644 campgrounds across 34 states, locating a Corps of Engineers campground can be challenging. I got my RV "Camping in Corps of Engineers Parks" yesterday. I love this book. I found a lot of COE Parks that are on some of the BEST fishing Lakes in America. I also, got my Senior Discount Card that cuts the price in Half. Some Camping spots are $8.00 a day with my Senior Disount Card. It is just another acronym for Army Corps of Engineers. Many refer to them as ACE or COE campgrounds.

You guys lived in Stuart? We lived in Palm City from 1997-2007! We also stayed at that COE park in Stuart at the locks about 3 years ago. Thanks for sharing!

Which are the best COE campgrounds for watching locks and dams and barge traffic?
The two best we have seen that from are both in Florida. WP Franklin Lock and Dam and the St Lucie Locks, both in South Florida. However, I would imagine any COE park located near a high traffic waterway or canal (that is not a lake) would be great! Thanks for watching!
