So excited to finally share the Studio Ploy’s home makeover... (after scores of sleepless nights and labor of love!). The first of many spaces that we’re going to transform from the usual and default skeleton/unfurnished condo or house unit into one’s dream cozy/serve-your-needs place in the next coming months.
Easy as it may seem, this project has been quite a challenge considering all the restrictions and limitations of this pandemic sitch. Nevertheless, “nothing worth having comes easy” as they say.. Hence, I am beyond elated seeing the final result!
Although this channel is fairly new, I humbly wish for your continuous support while we slowly grow and create something worthwhile and useful..

When Part 1 was uploaded it was late due to typhoon, after over a week another typhoon ravaged my beloved country, my thoughts and prayers are with our kababayans that they remain safe, while those hardly devastated rebuild again their own humble spaces...

yung pinaka ayaw ko na furniture ay ang side table. Hastle pag may kunin ak0, dapat ko pang tanggalin yung mga display bago ko makuha yung nasa loob. Pero the rest gusto ko lalo na yung foldable table.👍

Living in a small apartment abroad hinders me from buying home accessories/decorations(tables, chairs, sofa etc etc) I always tell myself where will i put them, i dont have enough space! Watching ur vlog gave me an idea and a style inspiration on how am i goin to design my small apartment. U havent included in ur video how did u make or where did u buy the glass partition, which separates ur bedroom to the living room. That light fixture, that’s exactly what i want to put in my room! Like what I’ve said on the video proper scaling is key and of course it should be multifunctional.. Glad this video in a way inspires you in making your home more cozy... 😊 With regard to the glass partition I had it customized by Acibar Glass and gave them a peg of a more slimmer inner frames and a matte black finish... I got the chandelier from one of the shops in ortigas home depot the one near the west gate entrance... For sure I fo have upcoming makeovers and yes the bathroom in the next few days... thank you! 😊

Very smart and lovely home! Giving me lots of ideas for our condo we are moving into soon! We too will have some cement feature walls. We were thinking about how to hang art without ruining the cement. Did you just use nails? Or adhesive hooks?
Glad you liked it! Cool! One of my favorite feature, I had fun doing it... I use what I call baby hooks or invisible traceless wall mount, I recently used them on the bathroom makeover when I hang some paintings beside the mirror... it won’t damage your wall and is unnoticeable specially for white paints or a transparent option for colored or textured wall... nails would definitely damage the cement while adhesive hooks would only last you for a month or 2... 😊

I did not include the partition as I focused more on the furniture, but yes its also multifunction as it adds a nice industrial touch and serve not just to divide the space without taking much space but as a noise barrier though minimal... I had it customized by a local supplier here in Manila, Acibar Glass.. Yes its made of glass panes and powder coated aluminum frame... :)

Pag painting and other assembling stuff na di naman kelangan magingay no need na for work permit kung ikaw din gagawa, pero if you're going to do some drillings and installation kelangan mo na ng permit... Yes its SMDC... Prior to turn-over nirequest ko na tlga na walang partition since hindi ko sya gusto at glass nga preferred kong ilagay kasi maliit ang unit... Thanks as well! 😊

Hi Pauline! Honestly based sa experience sa una yes, pero hindi long lasting lumundo na sya kagad hindi well supported ang middle part... better get a pull out na sofa bed... I think folding it affects the durability ng cushion... 😊

Thank you! :) Typically most modern small unit like this one has a space beside the toilet or inside the toilet... Older ones puts it beside the kitchen with a drying cage dedicated for each unit at the roof deck...

Hi Jenica! Yes you still can, same with what I did to the unit with an already existing paint... you just need to roughen it a bit by using a lower grade san paper like around 60 before applying wallart industrial... 😊

Hi Angeli! Thank you! 🤍 Regarding the cost of the mirrors I think roughly around 7.5k including the additional 3M double adhesive tapes... The tile mirror costs 650 each set of 4 and I covered that whole portion a total of 11 sets... 😊
