TO EVERYONE DISAPPOINTED THAT THE FANS LOOKED "BORED"... Private performances are really intimate and quiet and it's usually not full of fans screaming and jumping (it's actually really nice). It would in fact feel awkward if you were to sing too loud. I've been to a private performance for a different artist before. :)
This is so fucking true and they told us to be quiet and it's extremely upsetting to see everyone saying everyone at this was a fake fan. I was there and this meant EVERYTHING to me. And everyone was singing you just can't hear it in this video since its edited.

the noise of the crowd is most likely died down by the editing because they're pretty loud in Ashton's solo but once he starts singing again they go completely silent

for those in the comments saying how the crowd "was so dead" and how the fans were fake fans, the door is that way you can kindly leave!!! you aren't supposed to be screaming and yelling during private acoustic shows, and inbetween the songs the crowd didn't seem so "dead". so chill, if you were there you would know that you would be taken out of the room (most likely) for causing a ruckus, and to me it's quite rude to be making a scene while an artist is performing an acoustic show. you had to pay (or win) some good money to be here, and i wouldn't risk not being able to meet them and see their show just to make it look on camera that we're having a good time. i had a great time. we all had a great time. i was fantastic!(: so please, take this into consideration !!
