Omas sensor is turned off when retroreflective is used. HP is a fairly good machine but what ever you do keep your warranty up to date YOU WILL NEED IT.

I’m a biggest fan of HP latex, great content, very informative, thank you 🙏🏾.
I have a small printing business in South Africa. I have a 115, I would like to know if can I print reflective material with it? Also I am in a process of upgrading, which printer do you recommend for both normal vinyl and reflective vinyl on a limited budget?

Hello! Yes your 115 can print reflective. The 115 can do smaller rolls 55lbs and under just fine!

What's a sacrificial meter to not waste paper?

Hello there! A sacrificial leader is waste material used to engage to the take up reel without using printable/sellable material.

Hi I got that machine 700w and I'm not satisfied from It, Can not print from the edge of the material you need to take out from the machine and start printing. lot of technical issues ( fixed on warranty) White ink Expiration date is too short not one year even 3 to six month. Maintenace cartridge is expensive and need to change it every 45-50 days. it is not an economic machine at all. Think twice before getting it and if you decide to sell one to get the one with white.Even ONYX tooo expensive. I willing to sell mine less than market price 25% if some one Interested.

The loading of these machines is insanely stupid. There must be another way than to make people kneel down in front with heavy rolls and manipulate them into difficult corners. I have a 335. I love the prints, but everytime a nightmare to load. And atleast 50% of the time the vinyl gets crushed when loading, and bunches up.
The last time it did this it destroyed a perfectly good black/cyan head completely by ripping up some of the circuitry next to the nozzle. I cant tell you how frustrating this is.
My old roland could be loaded from the back, so easy.
This to me is perhaps the WORST aspects of this machine, and it is probably the WORST machine to load in the world.
It looks like the new gen is slightly easier, but still a complete pain in the ass.
