I’ve hooped in this shoe for the past two days and I concur with your assessment. No need to break in, and the cushion is plush, buttery and feels like an upgrade from the Harden Vol 7. I agree it’s bottom heavy when just moving around slowly or warming up, but I felt once you start putting some force into that shank plate is where people will be surprised at how bouncy and fast the shoe starts to feel. When I’m really moving around I forget this is a heavier shoe. The courts are dusty at the gym I hoop at and I never lost traction. This shoe would be 10/10 for me if it wasn’t for the weight.
Agreed. If it was a couple ounces lighter it would be shoe of the year easy. Agreed once you start playing fast and hard you kinda forget about it. Solid ass performer 100% and it will easily make my top 5

Thanks for these great reviews! It's great to see that you actually are a good basketball player! My fav shoe is the Jordan 36 because of the max cushioning in the forefoot and the eclipse plate that provides massive energy return. Are you aware of any other shoes that are comparable? Only issues with the J's are width and a little forefoot instability. Wade 10’s don’t provide the same springboard effect as the J’s. Thanks!

Nice review! Does the lace dig into your foot near the toe area? I went TTS on this one, but I can feel the lace digging into my foot which is unbearable. I've to skip the first few lace eyelets to avoid the problem. I wonder if this is a common problem with this shoe.
I had that in my first wear on my right shoe. Loosened the bottom two eyelets up as they were super tight and then snugged up the top and it went away.

I think full length BOOM is the best Cushion set up right now. The way of wade 10's and the all city 11v2 full length BOOM is super nice. The heel logo thing is also not carbon fiber. It's just plastic but it does look like carbon fiber. Overall tho i do like the shoe a lot. Probably my favorite adidas bball shoe in a long while and if it wasn't so heavy, it'd be even better.

Great review Steve. I went tts with my pair and I’m finding they are pretty sloppy. I wish I went a half size down. I feel these are great value for $160 CAD and they look so sick.
I feel you man, I got my true size and the room in the toe box wasn’t a lot but it drove me insane lol,luckily I ordered a half size down so it should be a better fit
Glad i went half size down. I have a narrow foot and im usually swimming in Adidas bball shoes when i go tts.

Been playing in these. I think i shoulda went half size down, but i put socks into consideration. The traction on these are soooo sticky and grippy. For me, It felt like id get stuck to the floor trying to switch up my feet on defense. Cushion feels good. Ankle support is alright
