For anyone still doubting, Courtney posted “happy April second” with more wedding pics, and Shelby Young (one of Shayne’s close friends) posted pics from their wedding. It is April 3rd, no “gotcha!” has been issued - it is safe to be happy that they are married!
I am very excited they feel comfortable sharing that with people, and that they don’t need to hide their relationship.
Also, if you’re saying to yourself “but where’s their family? Where’s Damien as the best man?” It’s a courthouse wedding, they’re usually intimate affairs, and whether they will have/already had a bigger ceremony is none of our business. Frankly, they could’ve kept this whole thing a secret too and would’ve been totally in their right to do so. The internet has its way of picking apart people’s relationships (probably why they kept it under wraps until now).
Be happy for them, don’t pry, and just show them love.
UPDATE: People Magazine just put out an interview with Courtney after the announcement. (Amanda’s worlds are colliding and that’s so fucking funny)
In it she describes how happy she is to be marrying her best friend, and that the response is both hilarious and heartwarming!
There is also damiens Twitch stream. He basically said it's true, and that's all he will say. Anything more on the situation is up to shayne and Courtney to talk on. But honestly, with how private they are on their personal lives, we should be lucky they even told us this to begin with

i’ve gone through so many waves of “it’s fake haha” and “oh shit is this real” the past two days i’m so tired
first the engagement picture from last year, then the sheer number of internet ppl commenting congratulating them, then them doubling down the next day, then damien confirming it, then the people magazine article like i have to believe it. but STILL i’ve seen them for years as JUST FRIENDS so it’s still so shocking. i have trouble believing it even thought i know it’s probably real but my mind is literally blown. i’m so excited for them but my body is still lagging like i seriously can’t believe it.

Yeah I couldn't agree more. I honestly still find the Shourtney fan pages I've skimmed through a little uncomfortable. Even if they turned out to be based in reality, it just doesn't seem very healthy to spend so much time on someone else's relationship like that. That said, it is a double-edged sword because Shayne and Courtney have chosen to share so much of themselves as public figures, not just as actors but as people, so it's more complicated than ever to draw lines because we glimpse their real-life dynamic for entertainment. It's the whole parasocial problem, impossible not to develop genuine fondness for these complete strangers. I admit I am pretty curious now to know when their relationship began and how they dealt with it through Smosh, I hope they will feel okay sharing the timeline.
