The Uilleann pipes have such a distinct sound.
I'm Canadian Scottish Irish... this song is my favorite tune. when drinking lol
Can't think of any other instrument (except...maybe the cello) that touches the soul like these pipes.
I saw a gig live last year. This song was performed by just an acoustic guitar and a mandoline. it was really awesome!!

I don't care about the nationality or origins of the pipes or the player, I just love hearing them!

I’ve been digging many versions of this tube; this is the first one to use Bloodbraid Elf as the backdrop. Very cool 🤘🤘
Who plays this version of this song? I have been looking for it for a very long time
Where can I find this artwork and the artist who made it? I like their style.
The artist is Caleb Cox, he has his own CZcams channel
Casey Reid ...... but this was uploaded 5 years before his channel...

Be nice if the uploader put the actual artist in the description instead of leaving misleading information so they can profit off someone elses work.
If you like the sound of the uilleann pipes you should hear them played the way they were meant to be played: czcams.com/video/9JHoiMoY9Xs/video.html
It takes an Irishman to play the Pipes.
What about a Scotsman?
They did not. It is uncertain as to where they originated. "Scotland's national instrument, the Bagpipe or in Gaelic "piob-mhor" (the great pipe) did not originate in Scotland. The Bagpipe has a long and honourable history stretching back to the beginnings of civilization, for it is one of the oldest of instruments played by man. A great deal of uncertainty, conflict and controversy surrounds the questions of the origins, evolution and distribution of bagpipes." -History of the Bagpipes - www.clanmackay.ca/culture.html
I guess it takes an Irishman to play the uilleann pipes. The term "pipes" is just too general.
+rhal100 scoti means Gaels to Romans so Picts are not Scots but Gaels are, and also to everyone, bagpipes were invented in many countries and are said to have originated in Syria and Ireland.

Irish Warpipes 😁
These are belows-blown though. Historical Irish Warpipes had two drones and were mouth-blown and had much abrasive and louder sound to it
