Thank you. The standard 4' gate has a load rating of 2,700 lbs. This is based on distributed load. A small 2,000 lb tractor should be no problem at all, as they have a pretty typical wheel base.
It would depend on the overall construction of the gate. But equally substituting angle from the tube would probably lose a couple hundred lbs of payload.
