Weekend Mass Protest To Go Ahead - Organisers of the weekend mass protest against human rights abuses by the government said they are ready for the task.
By Tuesday, more than 10,000 people had confirmed their participation in the August 17 protests organised by a faction of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC).
This date coincides with the 44th Ordinary SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government, set to be held in Harare.
Despite the government’s recent deployment of military tankers onto the streets in a clear attempt to intimidate the populace, the activists remain undeterred.
