  • It's easy to latch onto the latest and greatest, high win percentage, guaranteed, risk-free, second income Betfair trading strategy.
    Unfortunately, most of these approaches are false and real trading is completely different.
    It doesn't involve some amazing strategy that nobody has thought of before, it tends to be a slow and steady progression of decent risk-taking.
    Trying to avoid losses, setting up sensible entry points and trying to stack things in your favour is the key to long term profitability.
    You will win and lose regularly, but remain focused on your long term objective.
    For this video, I funded a secondary account with £300 and traded it alongside my main account when I could.
    This video discusses the results on that account and how I managed to turn £300 into £1300 in just sort of four weeks.

    Just as a horse's graph will have peaks and troughs, so will your profit/loss graph. As long as it's generally moving upwards, that's all that matters.

    Possibly my favourite BA video. An excellent piece of mentoring on the realities of trading, in particular being dispassionate about cutting losses, and making small percentage profits per market and the joys of compounding. If I mess up then, instead of kicking myself, I watch it all over again.

    Thanks for all of your excellent videos Peter. Quick question if I may, you set out with £300 & obviously staked accordingly (I presume). Did you then increase your stakes as your bank grew, or keep those same stakes that you started with, all the way through the month?

    • @betangeltv
      @betangeltv  Před 2 lety +1

      Generally speaking, the more money you have more opportunities open up so you would increase your stake size, gradually, as you progress. To be completely correct, you may not actually increase your stake size, but you may put through more than one trade at time.
      That's the most effective way to trade a small bank to a larger one. You cap the risk but increase the reward.
