Well, this are just some random clips that I had a long time ago but didn't upload them to CZcams. Unfortunately, I don't have the full concert. Maybe the Estate has it or someone else and will release it someday. Enjoy!
You know it’s just something about those early days of Whitney’s singing performances 1985 to 1986, that sends chills up my spine. Like where did this woman come from and I don’t think she was even aware of how ethereal her voice was.
Her real hair was so baby-fine like texture. Arista just slicked it back for the debut album cover. Put a wig on her first before sending her to the NYC salon where Diana Ross went (per Robyn’s book) to get extensions. She wore a wig for her short ‘85 Summer Tour (that actually went into Autumn) but she opened for Jeffrey Osborne & Luther Vandross in ‘85 & she had extensions. I guess Luther & Jeffrey were after the “Summer Tour” & then in ‘86 headlined her first tour The Greatest Love Tour w/her iconic extensions she wore thru ‘88 @ varying lengths. Why do I type what I think? I need help. Byeeeeeeeeeeee. Oh, & Thank You as always for these videos. I live for all of them💜💜💜

The electrifying energy of Tina Tuner, sheer power of Patti Labelle, Gospel fiery style of Aretha, lyrical Phrasing like Dionne, Soul like Gladys Knight, armed with operatic power like her Mother. All of that combined with her own melissma, she literally couldn't be touched. No one today could sing like that, and no one in the past could either.

Omg yessss!!!!! Her voice was rockin' that night!! Her first solo concert after the released of her first album. Estate has so many footage and they don't release it :(!!!

No problem! Yes I had this clips in my hard drive but I never thought of uploading them as they were brief... But MIXANDMTCH changed my mind and I finally took the decision and upload them. Very rare clips tbh. Hope Estate has the full concert.

Whitney wasn't holding anything back then. 80s Whitney will always be my favorite. Not just because of her supernatural vocals but the vitality and enthusiasm she still had for performing before fame ruined it.

I really wished Whitney was more young in her apperance back then. They dressed her so old and had her in them grandma wigs. She look so much better natural short hair, no makeup. She looked young and free.
Let's be real. Every girl in their 20's wore grandma wigs back then. It was just how it was. Everyone dressed older in order to seem matured...
