My last Chiko at Tama zoo. She will move to Hamamatsu City Zoo.

Mama Mikan just thought she was going to have a little rest with baby Dill alone away from the rest of the troop. Ibuki had other ideas. Dill is really becoming attentive and seems to like watching Ibuki and Cherry playing together. Soon Mikan is going to have her hands full. Looks like Dill is teething.
Wow, he’s riding on her back already?!
That's not that uncommon despite what the "experts" would have you believe!
About time
I've noticed Cherry playing with Ibuki and Plum more lately...and she's been really sweet with Dill from what I've seen.

She loves kids that age, she used to play with Fubuki the same.
So sad watching Chico with pico The last time they'll be outside together breaks my heart. I Hope Chico and cherry aren't too stressed out during the trip. It's gonna be a huge adjustment for them both especially cherry she's not gonna be able to take everybody's food. Lol
I think they've got different moving dates.
I did see where Chico made it to her new zoo. Said she was nervous but did manage to eat the food she was given. I hope she adapts well there.

Those two wrestling around have the entire yard free to do so yet choose to get right on top of Mikan and Dill.

And Mikan blocks Ibuki with her feet.. 😆 I love watching Mikan be a great mother! She definitely had the best teacher in the group.

Why do I love watching the adults beat the snot outta the babies? Nothing makes me happier (especially when the babies squeal from getting bit because they were playing too rough)

I never liked cherry but I gotta say I'm gonna miss her You see another side of her when they play with the babies I'm definitely gonna miss Chico The way she Makes those Weird movements With her neck and back and her sounds are so uniqie. This is a big family it's sad that it's gonna be broken up. I hope someday they return
I'm with you! I hope they can sense trauma and will fix things if that's the case. I am just sick about them moving Chiko at the twilight of Peko's life. I'm afraid the trauma will kill her

I just hope it doesn't ruin Bonbon, since male chimps normally in the wild cling to their moms in the teen year and stay in the moms group usually. Cherry is a great mom, she will give her life for her son and sister. I saw many videos where Cherry apologized to Kenta ( her father ) shaking from head to toe for her son's behavior. I know Tama wants Bonbon to step up to the plate but will only be 16 or 17 come this yrs. Neither Bonbon, Gin nor Max has the age to be a true Alpha like Kenta. Marina is the same kind of mom that Cherry is in my opinion to her her son Max rules, she will fight Bonbon over him, there is a video of her and Max after Bonbon cause Cherry wasn't there. To me Bonbon and Max are mama's boys, I love it. Poor Gin got short changed.

No matter what the Zoo Staff want BonBon to become he will always be just like Decky, kinda preforming alpha roles but never 100% the alpha because of his plumbing issues with his male parts. If he cannot take care of the ladies in every aspect there will never be complete respect and support that the alpha chimp requires. If Decky would have be active with the ladies he could have fulfilled the role. IMO Max is the front runner with his pal Gin providing security. Year's later Ibuki and Dill could get to the point of fighting for the alpha role, either of them could have the family support necessary.

I agree with everything you say, I do think maybe Fubuki and Ibuki will become alpha brothers one day. I feel sorry for Bonbon cause they could have fixed him to be a proper chimp, there's another young male at another zoo that is like Bonbon. If they want Bonbon to be an alpha they have to fix him, I know I would be pushing it if I was a vet there even knowing the risk. Max with Gin will make a perfect pair, but they as well as Bonbon are too young right now.

@@catloverugaiyah5769 when she was very young around 4 y/o, I think, a mistake was made that allowed older chimps to be in the same area as her and she was attacked. Ever since that occurred she has struggled with making friends and with the social skills necessary for life within a group. She was paired up with Sakura on several occasions but since then she really hasn't been featured, why that is idk.
Sakura should just take over the troop shes a badass

Those chimps will be hairless soon if they don't get treated and have a better diet!....Their enclosure is awful too,they need trees and ,and things to entertain them,,they have a very mundain,lonely excistance there!....sooo sad!

They've been there for years and haven't gone hairless yet, so safe to say their diet is just fine
These are the best cared for chimps in all of Japan. And they have plenty to keep them occupied and plenty of space to climb and run. Not sure why you’d think that
