Forgive my collar being all over the place for the first 5 min. 😂 I hope it’s not too distracting to you ❤
Their Vicious Games was a wild ride-so good! How to Say Babylon was one of my favorite reads last year.
Double yay! I fell in love with both books!
I'm reading How to Say Babylon at Diverse Spines' recommendation as well - I always love her author chats. I had to wait just a little bit for it at my library but I have it now and hope to start it this weekend.
Same! Did you check out her author chat yesterday? It's on the Diverse Spines IG page now and I watched it live. It was SO good and so many of Safiya SInclair's family members, including her Dad were present for the chat!
Hey LaRosa! Happy new year😊. I am excited to hear your thoughts on all of those books. I've gotten some great recs from you already. This list is inspiring me for sure.
Happy belated New Year! :) You are so kind and what a pleasure to be on this book journey with you! Stay tuned!
Hi I was just reading about a book called The Life and Times of Hannah Crafts. She was the first Black female novelist and a slave. I’m putting this book on my TBR.
WOW Von! You and my CZcams algorithm brought Hannah Crafts my way! I'm going to try to do a deep dive on her novel and biographies about her!
Your vest ❤❤❤ so pretty! Ann petry 🎉 I read the street this year and thought it was excellent. That building super 👎
Yay! I am SO happy you read it! Yes, that super creeped me out on so many levels!
