Wow. I ran one of these in a printing shop in the early 70's in San Francisco (mostly making changes on multipart hospital forms ;-) I was always amazed at how tolerant and undemanding it was for setting up and running jobs... something I have always taken since to be a good design characteristic for practical machinery :-)
Great machine. Ran one in mid seventies. With cylindrical platen, type just "kissed" paper. Also we ran lots of commercial payroll checks. Precise registration required for magnetic ink bank numbers and this press had no problems with such precision. (If out of position, bank 's electronic check reader wouldn't be able to read.) Also, printed carbon black on checks, too. This is a great press.
Omg used run these, a Verner, a Heidelberg windmill and a old Gordon back in the early 80’s at Lefebvre Intergraphics. Miss those days so much
Music to my ears. I used to run one of these occasionally. More often I ran a V45. Thanks.

I really don’t want to see that guy touch this machine ever again.
