Ty Jordan!!!! I love Sam!! In my opinion Sam helped mold my favorite movie, Back to School. Sam and Rodney working together is an explosion of some of the funniest comedy I ever seen. Who knows what kind of movie or stand up we never got to see because of him passing away!!

Hi Jordan, what a great story, I love the part where they all walk off stage and start packing things up. So nice that Sam achieved what he'd dreamed of doing. Shame that yet another building with a bit of character has to get demolished just to be replaced by another building that will probably remain empty for years. Great vlog Jordan.

This is super, and to visit Graceland, this way via a promise, is amazing. Too bad 31 flavors of Songs isn't still there. you Jordan could have made a recording. Sam Kinison's story seems to have a lot of ups and downs. How could they destroy such a landmark and the Palms Restaurant? Love the story you told about the backup singers on The Tonight Show for Sam. This is a pure Hollywood legend.

I LOVED Sam Kinison!! He was one of the funniest comedians there ever was! I was crushed when he was killed. I had a Trans Am white with the gold wheels EXACTLY like his. Just a coincidence though. RIP Sam..we miss you & your brilliant comedy!!!! ♥️😢🌹🌟😇

I once came across someone I knew that was selling Sam's White Kramer guitar that he used in his "Wild Thing" music video. So having a good friend that is a former writer and personal friend of Howard Stern. I called my friend and had him tell Howard considering close he was with Sam and how that guitar was such an iconic guitar to Sam's history and how big that music video was. Well Howard got back to my friend he passed the message back to me and Howard said "He already has way too many guitars that a lot of his past guests from EVH to you name it, that as much as he love to own that guitar he will pass." Howard added there isn't a day goes by he doesn't think about Sam." Howard said he keeps a beautiful necklace Sam once gave him around a vase in his home to always remember him. That was a great vlog and very jam packed! Great job Jordan!

This was great, Jordan. I loved Sam’s performance on The Tonight Show. Had absolutely no idea what the backstory on it was. Thanks!! 👍🏻👏🏻 Sam’s variable tone of voice and pace was perfect for this song. He starts off humbly singing with a hint of despair, then up goes several octaves and many volumes of Decibels. Loved it! That one, and I believe his first HBO stand up special was my favorites. RIP, Sam! 😢

You covered more history and information in a few episodes then I learned living in Memphis for 9 years, of course being a big blues and jazz fan I spent just about every spare moment on Beale Street! 😎 Thanks for more great stories, best wishes!
I went to LA in early/mid 80's and Sam carded me at The Comedy Store. Later that night, he closed with the routine that became famous on Rodney's special. Great vlog Jordan!

That was really crazy... I just watched the other vlog about Sam's death yesterday and Bam this vlog shows up! Kismet?? Pretty cool I never really knew how sam got his start but you always heard that Johnny Carson loved to find talent and help give folks a hand up. Nice Vlog on Sam he had a likable personality and I was sad for his passing..

I was last there on April 17th 1992 and met Johnny for the 3rd and last time. Johnny's last show was May 22nd. 1992. To me The Tonight Show ended when Johnny retired. Rest In Peace Sam and Johnny.

The amount of research you put into your Vlogs is always impressive. They entertainment, educate and (as with your Mexico trip) can open a whole new world for many to enjoy. However - I imagine the 'twin locations' not only took a bit of planning - but could not have been easy due to all the restrictions
in place because of covid. Many Thanks 'Daze with Jordan' makes even the worst of days much brighter.

Very nice video, I remember watching Sam Kinison on the tonight show. My brother met Sam Kinison in Sacramento at the Airport. He said Sam was the nicest guy you could meet. Sam was mobbed by a crowd and signed autographs while his bags were circling around the baggage carousel, making jokes the whole time. About a month later Sam was killed in the accident.
That was a fun one! I love the way you went back and forth.

Excellent story Jordan. Sounds like if Carl had wanted to tour the plane,Sams career might not have taken off as quickly. Ironic that Sams joke about his woman cheating on him and hoping she dies as the punchline. Considering that Sam ends up getting his best friends wife pregnant and Carl gets stuck with paying hundreds of thousands in child support and legal fees. Recall they used Sams brothers familial DNA to show Sam was 99.8 percent more of a paternal fit than Carls 0.2 percent. I wish Carl had Sams luck picking wives and best friends. Cheers

Sam Kinison is a Sagittarius. No matter how you block us we always prevail. I had a vision of my own can't wait to see how that turns out. I have been in these you tube streets for almost three years and I myself could use some discovery. If it can happen for Sam I believe in my whole heart that it can happen for me too. Great vlog.

What a great vlog with a little Elvis history mixed in.I agree about having something at the Burbank Studios about Johnny Carlson.They should at least have some type of plaque outside about Johnny Carlson and the history of the tonight show.Years ago,there were two shows on TV that most artist knew if they were invited on then they knew they have made it to the big time.One was the Ed Sullivan Show and the other was the Johnny Carlson show.
I saw Sam in 1989 at the Northrup Theater in Minneapolis, MN. He handed out condoms from a huge bowl at the show. One of the best shows I have ever seen.

How cool was that story? It's all about being at the right place at the right time - wow! I work right by the former NBC Studios - it was funny to see my building for a few seconds there lol You would think they would have some sort of monument for Johnny Carson and Jay Leno there. There is the Johnny Carson Park across the way.
Sam paid his dues before he got to this moment, spent 5 yrs. plus in LA before he broke out, Bill Hicks, Carl LeBove, Sam were true outlaws of comedy -- we miss 'em
