- Hyundai i20 Elite Diesel Clutch & Steering Rack Changed + Servicing
So this was a Subscriber's car and we had to service the car, check suspension and Clutch.
There was a lot of noise in the steering rack and decided to get it repaired initially. But as per client's request we got the steering rack changed with hyundai's genuine steering rack. Also got the clutch set, clutch release bearing and link rods changed. Apart from that did a general servicing of the car as well.

Hi I don’t think my comment will help you now
But when your doing a clutch over haul
You got to change the clutch plate, pressure plate, release bearing
And transmission oil. But sometimes you got to also change the
Clutch cylinder but that in rare cases. You should only change it only
If the cylinder is leaking oil or when you press your clutch pedal and it gets
Stuck to the floor only then get it changed. If you don’t see any issues with them
And your mechanic says you have to change it, go and Find any other mechanic
He’s ripping you of.

Rack... Could be alignment issue also
@@nklkhanna alignment checked...no issue found ..checked with local mechanic he says steering coloumn which is around 25k
@@chirag88in vw parts are expensive buddy. I suggest dont get the steering rack repaired just get it replaced for peace of mind.

Mera gaadi 18000kms pe hai, next month 7th/70000km servicing hai...toh mereko jo bhi recommend changes karane ko company bola gaya hai...wo sabhi karna padega na even though mera gaadi sirf 18000kms chala hai?
No.. zaroori nahi hai... Agar under warranty hai then karana chahiye else not.
