I feel like Dutedimpianekepusaan is just cursed to have bad charting in any game it is in. The reason I say this is because of one thing that this song suffers from: Balancing. Most charts of this song until the piano part where things just turn haywire. It's really not that hard to find places in this song to balance it out. Make the piano part and less complex pattern, tweak some parts of the song to make it equal to the difficulty of the piano part, and boom, and balance and [hopefully] a fun and good chart. Dancerail3, TAKUMI, and ChainBeet are just atrocious and is some of my least favorite charts in these games. At least with the other Tier 18s in this game I can find some enjoyment, but not here.
1. i get what you're saying. almost every chart i played for dutedimpianekepusaan has made the piano part a bit too complex. it's all complex 16ths patterns & some hard glissando patterns (e.g. the "X" pattern at the end of the piano part for this chart) 2. there's only one chart in dr3 of dutedimpianekepusaan that doesn't have hard patterns for the piano part. tier 17. the starting pattern is almost like it is a tier 16. it just has miss notes between taps. there's only 3 seconds of hard patterns which i think you can stand. tier 16's piano part is obviously more easier because it just 16th's in one place. and there are also 3 seconds of hard patterns in the glissandos. 3. i agree with the tweaking part. RAVAGE 15+(takumi3), tier 18(dr3), HARD 11 (chainbeet). when i played those charts, the piano part came, i sensed a feeling of uncomfortableness around me. chainbeet gave me the most of it. i know this isn't a good response to your argument, but i had to think this on the spot. so it makes it hard to produce a good response, but i tried.

My thought process is that your most memorable chart for each song will be the hardest one (excluding DanceRail3 because purple ticket and stuff) So I would think making the hardest one the best it can be important. That’s not to say to forget about the easier charts, it’s just that the chart for most songs that is played the most is the hardest difficulty of it.
tier 15 -> tier 18 (the tier 15 chart was too hard to be a 15. so it got promoted to a tier 18) update: i didn't realize i was talking about 蒼と空白の境. the actual answer to that question is that the tier 18 WAS recharted. it is at 1:21. the miss notes contained more notes. now there's a note when the miss slides change directions.
