This is probably the best story and ending. Big band is also a lot better than most of the other characters. This story just feels complete.

As a peacock main, I think this is my favorite story for peacock as a proper character. Her story is fun, but it doesn't really show very much of her delicate side. Big Band's story puts her in a position of weakness, and while it's still not her spotlight, her lines in these moments of weakness actually let on a lot about her actual philosophy and personality beneath the cartoon mobster act she puts on on the surface. The line "I ain't a big fan of reality, pops" actually pretty strongly echoes the sentiments of escapism that a lot of people of the time she's styled after seemed to share. It suggests maybe the experiences with the Medicis when she was young hurt her more than she lets on, and she immerses herself in her cartoon world as a means to ease the pain she's gone through at such a young age. Most of the time she's just a goofily adorable comic relief kid, but when you get into the depth of her personality, she's honestly a pretty tragically scarred character. In many ways, I think people in this day and age can relate to her sentiments. But despite all her flaws and traumas, she's genuinely one of the brightest beacons for a better world in the gruesome world of Skullgirls, and I think seeing that can inspire real people to be that hope for others. Beautiful isn't it? All from the story of a funny music man and his adopted mob daughter
I entirely agree with you. The dynamic Peacock and Big Band have is very wholesome and I think it would help Painwheel as well deal with her pains of what she went through and be able to maintain her own thoughts and self.

THIS is a really good story. I loved every single part of it. Big Band is 100% one of my fav characters.

ToxicAsparagus , well, it's complicated. Each story mode is an different possible timeline, so things that happen in two or more story modes are considered cannon in general.
Yeah, the only difference is that in Big Band's timeline, Nadia didn't bother getting the Skull Heart. Also, Big Band's story starts a bit later.
