Chromedome was the only G1 headmaster I owned as a kid. I still have some parts of him stored somewhere. I really like the Headmasters. It's a shame we didn't get a full season with them.
Generation one definitely was my error and I had nearly the entire collection until I gave it away to my cousin in 89 of Christmas. I wish I didn’t but I did and I started to collect again. Once the beast wars started the possibility of the beast wars change the game in transformers the use of ball joints just to be able to pose them in fighting stance, really uplifting and brought the spark of life back into the transformers toy line
Double hinges on a G1 figure were rather impressive in those days!!
Got this guy recently, love the headmasters and am glad I completed the first 7. Alas, I didn’t know about the chest plate issue and cause a little damage. Taught me to look up info on g1 figures I didn’t have as a kid and not to force the old pieces…. Great review.
One of my favs of the G1 original Autobot headmasters.
Have that reissue of the Titan Returns. Man is he a shrimp next to this classic.
Nothing like a good ol’ G1 review. Brainstorm as a toy is my fav of the Headmasters Autobots
Chrome paint, no gaps or hallow parts, sturdy as a brick, yes this is a Prime example of an original Generation 1 Transformers action figure.
Hardhead did the closest to swearing in the TV show. I remember hearing him say, "Awww the heck with it!" and thinking, "Heck? He said heck? Wow!"

Great review, one of my faves as a kid. Didn't have headmasters in those days, however, I had Doublecross, from that era.
Love the headmasters, though admittedly I like the decepticons more. Snapdragon, Weirdwolf, Mindwipe, how could you not?
I just picked up a complete Hardhead today at a Toy Store in Xenia OH. He had to come from a collector, he is like new, no sticker wear, tight joints, if he had came with the box I'd swear he was brand new.
Enjoy him, he's a great figure.

When the Walmart reissue head masters came out i was kind of disappointed that they where no the G1 molds. I should get a G1 Hardhead to put next to my reissue.
He's a really good 80's figure, looks solid. Colors are great, chrome is nice. Duros is pretty nice too, the facesculpt is nice as well, even if it isn't accurate to the toon. Great review as usual PPR, G1 stuff always brings back the feeling of nostalgia I like.

Hard head is the only G1 headmaster I have complete.
He's been the only one I've wanted for years. I love the look of the tank.
@@PatriotPrimeReviews I got lucky with hardhead. Over a couple years time I paid $5 for his head at a train/toy show. The body at a flea market garage sale for $20. And the guns in a weapons lot for $10. Can’t really beat that. And I made money on the other weapons in that weapons lot.

I always liked the G1 toy, was one of my faves. I bought the newer one out of sheer nostalgia and love it.
