    This is the best video on how to program the 892LT remote. Wish I found this before the 10 other videos.

    Thank you. Short and to the point. Stupid instructions that came w/ remote were no help. Would give two thumbs-up if I could.

    How can the Liftmaster 892L be programmed for the DoorKing 6003 gate opener? Is there a learn switch on the Doorking control panel? My current Liftmaster 892L has two buttons to open the garage and the gate. I needed another remote, and can only get the garage door to program. I could not program the new Liftmaster 892L for the gate by using the old/current 892L remote.

      @gatehousesupplies  Před 5 lety

      You will have to locate the Liftmaster receiver unit in your Doorking operator. That receiver will have a learn button inside.

    Hi, Thanks for the video.
    Could you please advise how to duplicate Linear ACT-34B 4-Channel Block Coded Key Ring Transmitter to the new car remote from this video? I bought it and already synchronized it with the garage door but cannot do with the gate remote which is Linear ACT-34B 4-Channel Block Coded Key Ring Transmitter. Thanks

    I know it can copy from the 61LM, but can it learn a 61LM code from a 972LM?

    Can an 892LT be programmed off another 892LT? Need it to open the gate at my housing complex

    • @gatehousesupplies
      @gatehousesupplies  Před 5 lety

      It can IF the original 892LT was set up with a dip switch master remote.
      If it was learned from another 892 then probably not.

  • @gatehousesupplies
    @gatehousesupplies  Před 11 lety +1

    Yes the 892LT can learn a code from a 972LM.

    how can the 892LT learn a code from a 972LM. Can you provide instructions

    • @gatehousesupplies
      @gatehousesupplies  Před 9 lety

      +John Woo-Sam My understanding is the only way it can learn from a 972LM remote, if if that 972LM remote was originally programmed from a 61LM remote. If the 972Lm was programmed from another 972LM or directly to the receiver then you will not be able to learn it into the 892LT. If you have one that was originally programmed with a 61LM then it would program the remote the same way we show in the video.

    I lost one of my 892LT remotes. Can a new one learn the code from my old 892LT?

    • @randygatekeeper4297
      @randygatekeeper4297 Před 11 měsíci +1

      If you have an 892lt that was originally set up from a dip switch remote then yes you can use the 892 to teach other 892 remotes. However, if the 892 was originally learned directly into a receiver then it cannot be used to teach other 892 remotes.
      Sorry, it's a little confusing.

      My garage door is a commercial-type and I don't see any dip switches. Is there another type of remote that can learn from my older 892LT? @@randygatekeeper4297
