Very nice. I have left my scope set up to look at planets in the day but haven't done any imaging of them. Your moon looks great. Subcribed.
I managed to make a 150 megapixel moon image, with a dobsonian telescope and a phone. So remember that you don't always need expensive equipment to make a great image!
Agree!
How did you figure that your final mosaic was 300 megapixels?
Thank you for your comment. Converting image resolution to megapixels can be done with simple calculation. You need to multiply the width by the height and then divide by 1 000 000.
Muy buena camara y linda toma amigo yo tengo un meade LX10 y muy buen teléscopio tengo 20 años de tenerlo y la óptica impecable saludos desde Honduras
NIce video. I'd love to see how you determined how to frame up the sections and then the processing to make the final image! Clear skies!
Thank you! The field of view used in this was relatively big so i managed to roughly slew manually the telescope to the different parts of the Moon. The image in this video was made from 4 panels. We can do Moon mosaic image processing video in the future but shortly explained this was sharpened in registax and then combined in photoshop. Since it was only 4 panels, so the aligning was pretty quick and simple in photoshop. Finally it was just blending the four frames using masks and a brush tool. =)
