  • Chief Mike Omoleye is a journalist and author. He worked with the Morning Post, Sunday Post and Sketch newspapers in Nigeria before establishing his own weekly newspaper the Sunday Glory in the 1980s. He is a member of the Society of Inner Light. He is a Kabbalist. Kabbalah is an esoteric method, discipline and school of thought. Its adherents see it as a religion integral to Judaism, Christianity or Occultist adaptions.
In a symposium organized by The Committed Awoist on 28 November 1980, Mike Omoleye delivered the paper “Awo As I Know Him”. In the lecture, he warned of the danger of a holocaust that may precede the 1983 elections if an attempt is made at Obafemi Awolowo’s life by evil politicians tampering with the consciousness of Nigeria in the astral plane. On receiving signals from the inner planes in 1968 suggesting the assassination of Awolowo, Chief Omoleye warned that the Nigerian state would seize to exist in the event that his revelation came to pass. How did Awo respond to his revelation?
If Chief Awolowo was a spiritualist of no mean calibre sent on a mission to earth, why was Chief Omoleye deeply concerned about his safety? Is it not the responsibility of God to protect those he sends on missions?
    Was Awolowo protected?
The Awolowo that Omoleye knew was an avatar because he had an extraordinary divine spark. He says he was a Salt of the Earth, a Heavenly Gem.
He was the first Premier of the Western Region of Nigeria from 1952 to 1959. When Nigeria became “independent” on 1 October 1960, the AG could not muster the number to make Awolowo the Prime Minister in a parliamentary system.
Awo was a Rosicrucian and humanist. It is in this spiritual dimension of Awolowo’s life that Mike Omoleye finds the links between the physical and the spiritual. In this case, he explores the divides to frame an understanding of the man that engraved his name in the hearts of many.

Speak no ill of the dead. The departed are no longer part of this world and should be allowed to rest.
