Royal Enfield Bullet Watsonian 500T 'Before' test ride.

When a machine comes in and it is reasonably sound, I like to take it for a test ride before I start work on it, just to give me an idea of what I may or may not feel needs doing with it. The next stop for this machine, as with many, will be onto my trusty bike lift.

Nice bike, for sure. That exhaust leak needs sorting though, to help with the popping and banging on the over-run. I’m interested to see what you need to do to sort the clutch operation. Thanks for the video. Les

I’ve recently bought one of these but the kickstart only model and of course the first thing to break was the kickstart pawl! 🤣

I had 3 Bullets and the kickstart pawl is a bit of a consumable!

Seems a,quiet engine..pity the pipe leaking..is the auto advance working overtime?

The timing turned out to be over advanced by around 15 degrees ...

Watsonian, the one time importer of RE machines, converted a few hundred Bullets to more resemble a trials machine - more of a trail bike, really - and this is one of them.
