    I received my system yesterday. Today was my first day using it, and I’ve almost paid for half the system in 1 day. We washed 9 motorcoaches, and fit in 3 waxes. Before I was lucky to get 3 full details in in one day. I am very please with my purchase!
    I feel like I have a major advantage over other detailing now because of my mtc costs. It was a hard pill to swallow at first, but after weighing my options and knowing I needed to do something, I decided to go with Bryce. Very professional and always available.
    BRYCE DONT SELL ANY TO ANYONE IN FORT MYERS LOL. I know this machine will help me dominate my market.
    Thank you very much.

    I appreciate your attention to detail and willingness to help out others in your videos. I also have hard water where I am, but I'm not a pro and will not have a storage tank or a RO system. I'm just setting up something to do my own cars. Can you tell me what micron size filters you are using for your sediment and carbon block and the GPM rating? Some of the cartridge RO filers are rated in GPD (Gallons per day), so I'm assuming you aren't using high flow filters. Thanks.

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
      @SpotlessWaterGuy  Před rokem +1

      Hey brother I use 5 micron filters. My RO is rated up to 2,400 gallons a day.

    If I was feeding my DI tank only 10ppm or so, my resin would go bad before I could get enough gallons out of it. I've read that resin should be used up in 18 months or it won't be very effective anymore. But then again, I'm not a pro. Just a weekend warrior who enjoys detailing cars. I would love to get my 350ppm water down to 200ppm or so before entering the DI tank though. Can't figure out how to do that.

    Have you tried to reuse the waste water or tds it to see how bad it was.

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
      @SpotlessWaterGuy  Před 9 měsíci

      There’s not much you can do with the waste water. It’s basically hard water on steroids. It’s twice the hardness of your incoming tap water. I’ve heard some people have saved the waste water to pressure wash gas station pavement but other than that you can also use it to water trees and plants. There’s not a lot of use for it. To be honest even saving it to pressure wash pavement sounds more cumbersome than I would want to deal with. JMO.

    That system is killer! I’m in AZ too. TDS is 279 where I’m at. Would it make sense to sell systems based on your tds levels? What I mean is if the RO system brings 274 down to 005(I think that’s what it was) why would I even need resin? Does it have to be zero or is there a good enough zone where you wouldn’t get water spots? Thank you and great work man.

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
      @SpotlessWaterGuy  Před rokem +3

      Hey Anna! I’ve heard you can go up to 006 and not see spots however I’ve never tried. In my marketing plan I actually tell people I only use 000 water. Once it hits 001 I replace the resin. It’s not a big expense for me anymore now that I’m stripping out up to 98% of TDS. I compare this to running a marathon and then stopping short of the finish line. You might as well cross it since you’re nearly there :) really great question!

    • @theslavingroup58
      @theslavingroup58 Před rokem +2

      The resin is a final water polisher. It is necessary in most washing applications an takes saps to a whole new level as there are no minerals to deplete its strength. Soaps go farther and in some detergents, takes the use life from one day to months once mixed

  • @handymangamer238
    @handymangamer238 Před rokem +1

    I have couple of questions. I'm a car enthusiast and wash my own cars (4 of them). I already have wall mounted CR Spotless. Is it possible to integrate your system into it? second, can it run inline? meaning don't go into tank but the output from it is directly connected to my Kranzle? The reason I ask because it seems like there is a pump pushing the water so if I don't have the trigger pushed then Kranzle is stopped but I guess your system would still be pushing water.

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
      @SpotlessWaterGuy  Před rokem +1

      Hey brother great questions. My system already comes integrated with its own DI canister. Those who buy from me who already have a CR spotless I tell them to sell it :) they won’t need it anymore. This can’t be connected directly to a pressure washer for the reason you called out. The pump is always pushing water. It needs a small water tank to operate properly. You draw from the tank with your pressure washer. For solar panel cleaners and windows washers. They often don’t need a water tank because they’re always running water through a water fed pole. In this case I can send a system that doesn’t have the float valve. They just turn it on when they need spot-free water and turn it off when they’re done. Hope that helps! Great questions.

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
      @SpotlessWaterGuy  Před rokem

      Yes it can be used to water plants and trees. Although I don’t know that I would use it to water fruits or vegetables for consumption. I just don’t know enough about how highly concentrated water with dissolved solids would impact nutrition.

    Btw has you looked into regenerating your resin?

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
      @SpotlessWaterGuy  Před 9 měsíci

      I personally don’t see any benefit in regenerating the resin. With this system it’s now lasting thousands of gallons. When it goes bad I throw it out and use new resin. Another thing to note. Each time you regenerate resin it loses its effectiveness. It will never go back to 100%

      Her brother. I usually put a microfiber towel under the housing and that contains the small drips I get when changing out the filters. You empty the water in the canister outside.

  • @DoctorSoftie
    @DoctorSoftie Před rokem +1

    Doesn’t this system cost $6-7k? How many car washes do I need to do to recoup the difference when the generic DI canister theoretically does 1400 gallons for $200 in resin. Your website calls CR spotless $0.65 per gallon. Whereas DI rinse is $0.14 for 300ish TDS. So assuming that I need to buy the DI tank and refill the resin at $600 and $200 respectively, I’d need to use ~39,000 gallons of water to break even on our product, assuming I’d never need to buy resin for your product again. 39,000 gallons out of my 2gpm (at best) pressure washer comes out to 19,500 minutes of water-on time. Assuming 15 minutes of constant water per car wash (30 gallons), this is 1300 car washes, at bare minimum to recoup my investment. As a weekend warrior this seemed like some clown shit at first. But I guess if you have a dialed detailing business where you have a steady stream of 30+ washes per week, this system might make sense.

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
      @SpotlessWaterGuy  Před rokem +1

      Hey brother I’m glad to see you exploring the amazing world of spotless water. Yes this is an expensive system however if you’re looking at this simply from a weekend warrior standpoint you’re right this may not be the best fit for you. This system really shines for those who are consuming large quantities of spotless water. For the weekend warrior the CR Spotless, DIRinse, etc.. can be a good option. As your business scales and grows and you need more water that’s where my system comes into play. A word of caution while on DIRinse website. look very closely and you will see the number of gallons they are estimating is based on an incoming water quality of 110ppm (TDS). The vast majority of the country has much harder water than 110ppm. For example here in AZ my water can range anywhere from 350ppm-550ppm. That high of TDS murders DI resin. The amount of spot-free water you will get dramatically decreases the higher the TDS. I’m not a big fan of advertising in this way. Feels a bit deceptive to me. In your comment you said you will get 1,400 gallons on $200 of resin. I think you are over estimating the amount of water you will get with an incoming water quality of 300ppm. For example on CR spotless they actually have a cool water calculator that does it’s best to give you factual information on how many gallons of spot-free water you can expect from your resin. Using the numbers you just provided me. On 1 cubic feet of resin and 300ppm incoming water quality you are only going to get approx 506 gallons of spotless water. You can verify what I’m telling you by visiting this link and you can enter the numbers yourself. This isn’t perfect but it’s close. crspotless.com/how-many-washes/ This is assuming you’re using the CR Spotless sized DIC-20. Using your number.. to make 39,000 gallons of water with an incoming 300ppm water, you’re going to spend $21,581 on 154 replacement cartridges from CR Spotless. Each cartridge is $140. That my friend is why my system makes sense. You can see how quickly my system can pay for itself for people who are using large quantities of DI water. Hope this helps.

      I've been waiting for this system be come out for sale for a while now. Interested in the price. Additionally, I believe adding a 2nd RO membrane and routing waste water to that, and then from that back to DI would dramatically reduce waste water to virtually nothing.
