Great Video. My 2023 F250 Lariat does something really annoying when pulling a trailer. It gives both a visual warning and an alert tone every time I turn onto an exit or entry ramp or approach an overpass (height restricted ahead). It also sets off a tone when another vehicle is beside me, so I get a tone every time I'm passed. Is there any way to turn off the tones? The visual display is fine but the tones drive me bonkers.
I think that is settable in the center screen. There are a lot more detail settings for the same stuff there.
Referring to page 2 of the Quick Reference Guide. It shows a screenshot of Longitude/Latitude/elevation and compass direction (refer to number -7-).
I was using this feature on my new Ford until I started exploring the other features. And NOW I can’t find how to get the info back on my instrument panel.
Please, can you help?
What year and trim level is your SuperDuty?
2024 Limited
That should be one of the MyView screens. Pressing the Menu button and then MyView should let you scroll to it. But you can adjust which screens are visible by getting to the MyView Configure window and then pressing OK on the steering wheel to add in additional screen
That’s what I thought. The only thing I haven’t checked is “Calm View”, “Blank “Screen”, “Trip 2”, and “Diesel Measurements”. But I’ve even tried those swapping out others individually. Plus I have automatic updates selected on Sync 4 screen. I know I’ve seen it on my screen before I started exploring these other options.
How would it be labeled under “MyView”?
To be honest I absolutely don't like this digital gauge cluster. Lack of a map is a deal breaker honestly.
Map in cluster would have been nice for sure.. but the more time you spend with the digital cluster the more used to it you get. I used to hate the look of digital clusters.. then I started reviewing cars and got used to them. Even now when I'm in a car with an analogue cluster I'll make sure to swap the middle screen to digital speed instead
@@CarsWithSteve I'll agree on that part. And you're right, you get used to it. I just think the map is a huge miss for Ford. I'm worried they won't add it to older models via update if they fix it for mid-cycle refresh... Crossing my fingers they do, though.
Agree you with 100% on the map in cluster. I'm surprised they didn't add it into the 2024 models either. I can't see them rolling that feature out to existing owners if they ever introduce the feature unfortunately
