Thank you for the heads up on the recall. In 2022, I bought a 2020 TLX/Aspec/Tech, 3.5 V6, and it had 10,031 miles on it. This was around the time when no cars were available, so there was no question about if I should or shouldn't, because I'm a SoCal field social worker required to have a vehicle. It just hit 25,025 miles today; and I absolutely love my car. I appreciate how you put the information out there, no bells and whistles, just the facts 😂😊
Social worker 😂
So are u glad you stuck with the old generation is what you're implying?
Are you having problems with your engine????
@@federal6616 Compared to the porky pig 2nd gen paired up with an anemic horrible sounding and uninspiring 2.0T? absolutely.
Good to see a company taking responsibility for defects in their product. It’s too bad Mercedes wont take responsibility for the M274 cylinder #1 piston cracking that requires an engine replacement. Bravo Acura!
All these EPA regulations... Engines are forced to be overly efficient or "clean" and it's driving companies mad. Ultra thin oils cause failures.
This has nothing to do epa lol, this is an engineering/build issue. Specs are incorrect for the rod/rod bearings. Oil is oil, just do your routine maintenance and don’t drive like wanna be racer lol. Bottom line, Acura always had engine issues, from the early b18 4 cyl and the early j series v6 til now.
@@ricmagik oil is oil? You have literally no clue.
Early J series had valve issues. Not rod bearing issues.
@@Jimster481that is true i had 3 tls 04-06 piss me off everytime then got a type s had no problem but it had a supercharger in honda data on it i sold the car because it won’t pass inspection because it couldn’t read some computer monitor and valve had to and must be done after timing belt however my 4cyl run strong like my rsx and my 2010 tsx
@@selfmade_tj3408 Yep, its common with early Honda motors. A recall like this though affecting so many years of Honda engines is very rare. They don't typically have these kinds of issues, especially plaguing customers for years. I don't believe it is a mfg issue either that they "just discovered" after 6+ years of making the engines?
The reality is that they are pushed to use thinner and thinner oil to meet EPA regulations and this affects how much clearance the bearings need to have and also how much tolerance there is before it fails. To have them breaking rods and spinning bearings is an oiling issue. These issues are also common of other MFGs during the same Time frame such as Chevy and even some Toyota's.
@@ricmagikand they have to engineer around the epa regulations dude car companies have been building cars for over 100 years and a lot has changed since then and car companies have to constantly work around rules and limits causing engines to become more complex and sometimes fail
I have the V6 TLX 2018 Advance. They emailed me, so I dropped my car off, and guess what? It took them 2 days to fix the bearing rod. They even changed my oil and filter for free and detailed my car-talk about service! no loaner though :(
Honestly, I've never had any issues with my TLX-no strange noises, no problems at all. I absolutely love my car. I've only driven it 25k miles in 6 years, haha. I'm planning to keep it for another 10 years until 2035!
Had a 2018 tlx 3.5 v6 had it for a year and a half. I put 22k on it and sold it and got what I paid for it. I never had a issue with the car and loved it but I did hear of the issues and the direct injection carbon build up. I traded it for a brand new Lexus es350 ultra luxury. The Lexus is a absolutely Awesome car but not nearly as fun to drive as the tlx
That’s my exact plan once I pay it off
Honda should also issue a recall for the timing chain tensioner on the 2013-2017 2.4L.
My 2016 Tlx is in the shop Right now due to this recall. Started out of now where, knocking internal sound. Acura is on it 👌🏾
@@papabear311 nice that they are taking care of it.
Just a heads up, its the Honda J35Y6 engine. Acura doesn't produce a single engine. They just put a Acura name plate on it right before it leaves the Honda engine Plant.
Effected models:
2016-2020 Acura TLX (all except Hybrid)
2015-2020 Acura TLX (v6 only)
2016 Honda Pilot (All)
2018-2019 Honda Pilot (All)
2017 Honda Ridgeline (All)
2019 Honda Ridgeline (All)
2018-2019 Honda Odyssey (All)
What is surprising is the Honda Passport uses the J35 engine but is not on the list for the Honda Service Bulletin (Honda 23-097, Acura 23-036)
Don't forget 21 Pilot?
I'm a big fan of Honda but they really need to get it together this is way too many cars
Why is the Acura MDX not on this list does it not have a V6
@@lbrown7164 MDX is on the first line, where hybrid is mentioned. Just a typo.
oh ok

Thanks for sharing. First got the notification from Carfax on 11/9 with no update until late January at the earliest from the dealer hear in New York
Thank you soo much for this info I'm in Canada I have a 2017 V6 A-Spec tech with Acura plus ext waranty will be checking in with the dealership.
Update ? Just bought 2020 mdx a spec w no warranty
Thank you so much for this post. Although my vehicle isn’t in these yrs In calling Honda I found a Bulletin for my vehicle
No problem.
I have a 2018 MDX FWD. I had the check engine light and heavy vibration on Wednesday 11/8 late afternoon! Had the vehicle flat bedded to the Acura dealer on Thursday 11/9 and they confirmed the vehicle “threw a rod”. Have CPO warranty until 100k, I’m at 97K! They will cover under warranty. Then received an email from CARFAX on Thursday night about this recall! At least it’s in the shop and they tell me I’m getting a new engine.
Don’t need warranty or anything if it’s a recal right
@@kingjay3301 yes, but this happened before the procedure for the recall was set, so they actually replaced the engine short block under "good will". It took over 12 weeks, but the dealer gave me a 2023 Aspec MDX as a loaner. I've had the vehicle back for a while now and it seems all good.
Great info glad somebodies producing proper and accurate information to Acura owners…
👊🏼
I had the issue with the rod bearings on my 2018 Acura RLX. Acura replaced the shortblock.
Had my 2015 TLX in shop having engine replaced when i heard about this recall. I called Acura they told me to send them all receipts which i did to the address they provided me and they said it would take 6-9 weeks after 11 or so I called and gave them the claim number they gave me only to be told that they never received my package so I made copies again and sent it to another address that they gave me which was customer service dept. and when I mailed it I paid for tracking I seen it was in Torrance twice out for delivery but never received now it is back in NJ. not sure what is happening ( Maybe the refused to except ) not sure but sure seems like the run around.
Plus the kicker is the 2018 engine I bought is on the list also. I have owned and bought many Hondas over the years if they won't make this right Lexus here I come.
I was plain old denied for my replacement , and told to pound sand if the replacement breaks because it’s from a junk yard and not the original engine 🖕🏼 Honda at this point
@@henryt7747 they can look at the engine number and see if its in the recall or not, tell them to pound sand
The replacement engine is only “covered” if it’s in the original car , “junk yard” replacements even if they come from a covered Acura , are not covered …
@@henryt7747 Not true, its a federally mandated safety recall so if that engine is part of the recall and you paid to have it put in then they have to fix it.
Thank You!!!!

I'm glad I have my 08 type s. I haven't liked the look of their cars since 3rd gen.
Great info,i have a 2015 TLX V6,no issues yet,but a repair kit for Rod bearing omg lol..i will like to see that..😂
lol
Thank you for sharing
They don't make them like they use to, My 2004 Acura TL has 290k miles and still drives like new.
I use to have one of these until it was stolen 300k still was going strong
hand down the best sedan Acura ever made (2nd only after 2nd gen Legend)
I used to have a TL 05, and that car handled and ran like a sport car. Stupid me treated it in for a TL 2017, luckily it was a 4 cylinder. 😅
Yes.. i bought a new 2004 MDX . same engine running strong at 360,000 miles
@@superdavid1964ify They are heavy but great cars, well build with no rattles even at high milage.
This new gen Acura’s are on the same level of design as Lamborghini. Mdx is dope. Tlx looks crazy and the integra is fire. Love my mdx type s.
That’s a stretch. And This news is horrendous. Theee are suppose to be the most reliable cars on the planet and they are junk
2018 TLX V6 just hit 65K miles, build date is actually in 2017, mine is among affected VINs, still running great
That’s great. They will make sure it stays like that 👍🏻
Hope it doesnt blow up after your warranty expires. That's one expensive repair bill
It will be running great until it isn’t … mine seized outta no where :(. Have them replace the engine now .. zits a recall not a warranty issue
I JUST REPLACED A MOTOR ON A PILOT, LAST GEN. TOWED IN WITH A SEIZED MOTOR, I DID NOTICED BRASS SHAVINGS IN THE OIL PAN. THATS DEFINATELY THE ROD BEARINGS
Thanks for the info. Do you know if this affects the Honda Passports as well?
My 2018 Tlx aspec v6 blew its motor around 55000kms. Had to take it in twice before i sold it.
I’m having an issue right now with my Wife’s 2020 Acura TLX. Brand new, it won’t crank at all right now. I last drove it fine on a Thursday & on Sunday it will not crank at all.
I also did get the recall notice in the mail so I am assuming this is that same issue in real time.
Definitely appreciate you sharing this vid. I’m about to call the dealer but I am definitely having issues at this moment
battery? does it try to turn over?
Mine froze totally , would not crank .. same situation.. worked fine one day , not the next . Good luck with the dealer!
My Sons 2019 just blew his engine because of this recall! But Acura of East Brunswick answered my call and they are going to replace the engine!
Good to hear it’s being taken care off 👍🏻
Regardless of the dealer they have too replace it if it spun a bearing or has full blown rod knock per the recall procedures.
My engine failed in May this year but started having issues last September after timing belt and other large maintenance services. No warning on the engine just knocking that fit louder and louder and engine lost motive power while on freeway in Bay Area. Dealership wanted $3k to test engine down to diagnose however honda knew of this issue back in 2020. About time they put a recall out. I have a 2018 TLX V6 Aspec AWD/SH. Loved the car until it died. Still making payments on it and paying full coverage insurance for a car I can't drive. It's now sitting at a dealership waiting for diagnosis and repair remedy. 😓
Same. You are not alone. They won’t put a report out until January 2024.
So are the honda ODY’s 4th gen all good then ?
Honda j35z8 v6
I know the 2nd gen had major tansmission problems
Great video I sell Acuras at Naples Acura in Naples Florida I work hard to take care of my customers and keep them happy. If anyone is looking for a new or used Acura look me up I can ship anywhere and extremely competitive. Most importantly honest and transparent. Steve
A work friend of mine has a 2017 Accord sport with the 2.4L 6 speed manual. He has 130k miles that are literally 99.9% highway miles, he lives in Saint George Utah and works in Vegas, he drives all highway. Hes always kept up with the scheduled maintenance, yet the rod bearing failed and its knocking horribly loud and needs an engine replacement at only 130k miles. He had an early 00's saturn before that with a 5 speed manual and he put 350k miles on it before he gave the car to one of his kids, and it still ran great.
Have a 19 MDX with 30,000 miles. No issues yet, but I’m going to get a Blackstone oil analysis to see if they is accelerated bearing wear next time I change the oil.
Just found out about this recall the other day and ordered a collection kit from BS myself.
Any update guys ??
Same thing worh previous model for tlx. Crazy stuff
ILX 2016 4 CYL.FANTASTIC CAR
Does anyone know if this affects the 2017 Honda Accord 3.5 V6?
I remember my 2020 v6 tlx the engine was making a knocking noise
I have a 2018 v6…car has 72k on it now. At 38k the engine blew because of rod bearing, they put in a new one. Yesterday driving home, same thing, rod bearing failure on 2nd motor… towing it in tomorrow. Can’t wait to hear the dealer excuses! Lemon lawsuit for sure! I do have 7 year 100k warranty as it was a cpo with 6k on car at the time of purchase..I have a year left as far as I can see!
Wow. This crazy.
They also effected the 3.5 2016 2018 19 honda pilots .not sure why not 2017 we will see.they said by mid dec jan the parts will be rolling in
Yeah this is true, the crank shaft on my 18 TLX Aspec failed early last year & this was a car I bought brand new so I needed a whole new engine which was covered by Acura under the 70k power train warranty so it was shipped by Japan and after it was replaced I traded the car in for the 21 TLX type S and so far no trouble with that engine
When you traded your TLX A spec in, wouldn't it be called a Lemon meaning your trade in would be way below of what's it is worth?
@@kuvyoghmoobamelica6883 No actually I got 25k for it because it had a brand new engine in it, so it was a good thing
Mines over 78,000 miles and it is a used car. Dj you think they already fixed it
@@daryllndemmayah4874 Not necessarily you might wanna check that out before that happens because the car will simply conk out
The Acura RLX has this issue and i wouldnt be surprised if it got added to the list.
My 2015 TLX V6 has 66k on the odo. I haven't encountered any issues yet.
Sad to see any J35 with this issue... Overall they've been very reliable.
Whats frustrating is that Acura has been developing these J-series V6 engines for nearly 30 years now (since the mid 90s). No excuse for having such a catastrophic design flaw this late in the game...
you're right !
Makes me want to consider other brands and I’ve been faithful to Acura for my last 3 vehicles now / 15 years. All of them had recalls and all had major work. I keep going back because I love V6 engines.
This is not a design flaw, it’s a manufacturing flaw
@@Blank00 For half a decade worth of production? If it was a manufacturing flaw it should've been caught within the first year at least.
Kinda odd that none of the Passports from 2019 have this issue since it's the same engine.
Hello, thank you for this unfortunate information! We just bought a 2016 MDX TECHNOLOGY last June and we experienced the vehicle dying as we were driving last year. It was a part I can’t recall the name but it wasn’t covered. I felt really dismayed the this happed and we’d only had the vehicle a couple of months…..now that I hear this I’m wondering what’s next. Should I wait to get the recall letter or call them? I really appreciate your decency to alert others of this issue!
Thanks so much! Annemarie Conrod.
Thanks and I’m glad this was helpful. I would definitely give your dealer a call and let them know you want to see if yours included. I like to get a jump
On it instead of waiting for the letter.
It’s the Rod Bearing in the MDX FROM 2015-2020 I first got it from Carfax
Hi Jon It’s been a long time I honestly only go on instagram and have not been on U tube that much but I do watch your videos from time to time Happy to see you still giving great information and modifications Especially this one I went back to Camrys as you know I recently bought my favorite Camry on instagram as I found out some bad things about my 19 I had Take good care my friend I will start watching more vids 😂
Hey how’s it going? It has been awhile. What happened to your 2019? Glad you are doing well. 👊🏼
I traded my 19XSE as I owned it outright I wanted a newer Camry missed the AWD that I had before living in Massachusetts so I upgraded to a almost new XSE I think it was special ordered as it has every option which I have never had I found the car in New Hampshire in literally brand new condition so I could not pass the car up I have had it 2 weeks now I hope you and your family are doing great in Cali I am surprised you have the same car but it’s beautiful Did your Acura fall under this recall I think you have a 23 correct me if wrong which would put you out of this crazy recall Take good care I will keep in touch Keep up the great information for the community 😂
@gosborne3248 thanks man. Mine is a 2021. No recall yet. Hoping it stays like that. Hope you are doing great as well.
I’m having the same issues now. My engine failed on my 2019 Acura TLX Aspec. I went to Acura services and they have provided me with no help or updates on my vehicle and I’ve been renting a car out of pocket this week. I’m sure the service and details of the recall probably won’t come out until January 2024. The dealership said it was an isolated issue with my car literally breaking down because of the recall. They didn’t even provide me with a rental vehicle. Hopefully I can get some answers soon. Thanks for good reporting on what’s going on with the recall.
Your dealer is trash and can do better. My 2019 starting showing symptoms in early december but had not completely failed as of yet. I drove it to the dealer and they put me in a loaner right away and they went ahead and dropped the oil pan to inspect the bearings and found abnormal wear on all of them. 5 weeks later I have a new short block under warranty and im back on the road. I still have to come back early spring for inspection but im fine with that because I got a new engine out of this and if you are still in warranty you should too. You need to be firm with them and not let them try to push you around and get out of fixing your car. If you have to call your local news station, they love to do stories like this and expose bad businesses and I can assure you Acura will do whatever they have to do at that point in order to get you to shut up.
2022 ILX here, k24 w/ 8dct. Honda has made some of the best 4 cylinder engines of all time with the B, K, H, F series engines. I also had an 07 TL-S with the OG J35 V6 and that was the best car I’ve ever owned with a great engine no problems. I should of never traded it in. I’ve been an Acura fan for over 22 years.
This is a shame with the newer V6 engines but at least it’s being addressed.
Own 2007 acura TL 3 2 v6 💪 engine 219 000.mile quiet runs good 💘
The Ilx and tlx 2.4 are awesome. I really enjoy my 2018 ilx but the ride quality was 💩 wish I had got a tlx 2.4. Ended up trading it in for a 23 civic k20
I could be wrong but I thought the 2020 TLX had the turbo charged 4 cylinder. I had a 2018 TLX Tech package with a V6 and had no problems. It is a great car.
Like I say I could be wrong. 🤙🏻🤙🏻 Anyway thanks for the heads up!
2021 and up are turbo 4s for the type s which is a turbo 3.0 v6
Nice to see this video with the wrong gen TLX and you keep pointing to it
What about the 2016-2018 RDX which all have the same J35 V6? I have a 16' RDX AWD.
Good question. There is no mention on the RDX. They must have been built using different parts/procedures
2015 Tlx advance V6 FWD 110,000 MILES, CALLED THE 1-888 # AND my car is affected. Build date 8/2014. The car is running perfect.

Hey man. Just purchased a ‘23 TLX aspec and would love to do mods/upgrades on it. Been watching a lot of your videos. One question is where do you go for your OEM parts? I don’t like the plain black floor mats that come with it and wanted to upgrade. I found these 08P15-TGV-210A that I really like but not sure where to buy them from or if these even fit. Thanks!

What about the new 3.5 V6 engines in the Ridgeline, Pilot etc .. did Honda fix the problems after the 2020 model year ???
I have a rod knock in my 2022 Ridgeline. This vehicle has been the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. I've even owned Fords and Saabs 😂
BMW M3 E92 has entered the chat.
where do I go to print that service bulletin?
Check Acuras website. They should have a recall section
My 2019 MDX just had a piston shoot straight through the oil pan on Saturday while driving on the freeway everything seized up and the car came to a halt in the middle of the highway this is a very serious issue my dealership is still waiting on a response from Honda to see what to do next
Great info. I've always had 4 cylinder honda motors, lucky me😅
At least Honda recognized that engines were built with bad rod bearings and will replace the engine.
I have a 2018 TLX A spec with 122k miles … a year ago I noticed there was a jolt when I’d accelerate past 30 mph, could this have anything to with it? Otherwise no issues - runs fine
no, thats likely transmission related.
Get the specs and do a full rebuild, checking everything. Hone the bearings to the correct ID. It's only off by a couple thousandths!
whats with all these newer cars with major Eng problems ford, Hyundai and Acura
What Hyundai motors are popping?
My 2020 MDX Tech SHAWD with 37K miles was brought to the dealer. I am their first customer who needs a new crankshaft. They have never done that repair before and Acura will not replace the engine. The car was running perfectly and was well maintained per maintenance minder. So be sure to bring your car in. It is beyond me how Acura can expect dealers to have qualified technicians for a major engine repair (or even an engine replacement). Fortunately, this is a leased car so back it goes! I was considering purchasing the car as it ran great, (I thought) it had great reliability and resale. Now when this goes on CarFax, I suspect the resale value will plummet so I will not purchase this car.
dumb, let them fix it and buy it.
Hello, I have this exact problem with my 2018 TLX. I noticed the knocking a few days before I got the recall notice. I took the car to an Acura dealer and the service manager confirmed it's part of the recall, that it's really knocking badly and i should not drive it. Now, my question is what does acura expect me ( us ) to do while we're waiting for parts. The recall notice says parts will be available spring of 2024. It's a bit hard to swallow that Acura expects 250,000 people to wait months for parts w/o some kind of rental compensation or loaners. I have seen on some sites where some owners have gotten loaners. I'm sure that's a "dealership" issue, as my dealer does not have the stock to provide a loaner ( he says ). This is my 3rd Acura , but may be my last. I may decide to trade the car in if i can find a dealer that will take it. I've contacted and have an open ticket with Honda Customer Service, but i'm getting a lot of "we'll get back to you in 3 to 5 business days !". call me very frustrated !

Isn't the V6 in Accord the same V6 in the TLX?

We have a 2018 Acura Rdx with the 3.5L V6. Is there any problem with this vehicle?.
2018 RDX has an older variation of this engine. You do not need to worry.

1.5L turbo has a common head gasket issue when using non-premium fuel.
Does it happnen on the 21+ Type s models
Type-S has a completely new 3.0 liter motor. This is about the old 3.5 liter.
Thanks for the heads up but I’m confused. You imply your car fits the recall but it’s the wrong generation and clearly a 4-cylinder?
Hi. No it’s not my generation. I simply am letting people know about it. It does not affect the new generation
Understood. Thanks!

Does the front end overhang not bother you? I think it looks really strange, like 2 ft of car past the front tire.
It looks great. I love how they designed it. In my opinion it’s one of the best looking sedans out there.
My car sticks out like 6ft past the front tire lol
Interesting this doesn't include the 2016-2020 RDX models that also have the 3.5L V6.

So is it a recall like the title says or just a service bulletin?
It's an actual recall. My MDX is affected.
So apparently the V6's that were put in the RDX's got different parts?
No just assembled somewhere else.
Why is the Acura MDX not on this list
Anything regarding Ridgeline?

@andraeneal9134 it doesn’t show that. Just 2017 & 2019. You should be good 👍🏻
That is weird for Honda. My issue was my 2020 2.0T Accord steering issue after 2 years, so I traded for 2023 integra Elite a spec manual and love it too like my Accord, but unfortunately same steering issue started and after 5 months ownership after first oil change. Dealership has been great with us for years, but still waiting to see about replacing parts or trade....for how awesome these vehicles are, I'm disappointed with Honda Acura for those issue. Any word on my issue and what it is and is it fixable??? I believe blown engine issue could be for start/stop, so I turn off, but sometimes forget.
Currently having this issue now. My 18 TLX engine fail Oct 3. No warning or nothing. I was driving to work as normal and when I tried to press the gas the power was completely gone. I had it towed to the dealership. Hours later they told me the engine had fail. Thank god I had warranty on my car. I pick it up on Monday with a brand new block replacement. Low key scared to keep this car after this issue.
Wow, that's crazy! I'd be irate if I had to pay.
Yea if its not R&R and was rebuilt i would be more concerned
does it still drive the same after engine replacement?
Same thing happened to me this past month I got a 20 tlx aspec. Had to have the engine replaced at 79k the new engine comes with a warranty for one year but I'm getting rid of it.
But the form that you have shows 2015 to 2020 TLX. The car in your video is the 2021 to 2024
Yes. I don’t own the year that is affected. I’m simply keeping people informed
So are Honda V6
even used trade in cars can not be resell and get pulled
Yes. If it falls under this recall, they cannot be sold.
2018 mdx owner & I called the dealership about the recall & I was told there is no fix yet that I’d be notified in 30-60 days.
Update ?
@@kingjay3301 received notice in the mail from Acura they won’t have parts available until spring to fix it. 🤦♀️
Also another recall came out right after this one. 🫣
Acuras are made in America now so I see why they are having problems. Hondas are still made in Japan.
What about damage already done to engine?? Seems like they better replace whole engine.
Yeah. I’m sure they will check it and make that decision on a case by case basis.
How will they check that?. Drop the oil pan on every one of the models affected and check the crankshaft and rod bearings? On almost million cars omg..I have a 2015 Tlx,the technician is going to make alot of money on the recall jobs replacing engines.
Damn. Honda/Toyota are now trying to compete with the big 3 in "unreliability" department.
Oh ya. I got my Toyota XB 2010. Just to 100, mi and it ble up and yes I kept oil up. So wasn’t that. Checked
What are the signs to know if there is an issue
Rod knock for start
My engine was randomly going out on me with no knocking.. eventually the entire engine went out.
Yikes 😬
This acura tlx is a 2021-22?
It is. In the video im letting people now if this recall for the last generation 👍🏻
@HondaJon oh ok.. bc I have a Acura tlx A-spec 22
I bought a Brand new 2010 TL SHAWD Tech Pkg 305HP. Still have it. Only have 57,000 miles. It’s had a few TSB’s in its time including an unresolved excessive engine oil consumption and a rear deck rattle. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved the car and Acuras and it will probably last me the rest of my life but if I ever buy a new car again it will be a Lexus.
Disable VCM and oil consumption problem will improve a lot or get completely resolved.
@@user-rt4ct6tq3r What’s VCM and how would I do that?
@@BUDS228 Hondas variable cylinder management. Do some research on it and you will see not only does it not do anything to improve your fuel economy, but it is bad for your engine and the engine mounts. There was actually a huge lawsuit over it.
Google S-VCM controller and check some Acura TLX discussion groups about this. Its simple to install, take about 3 min tops.
@@BUDS228 I gave you a helpful comment telling you what vcm is and how to disable it but I think YT hid the comment because I mentioned a certain search engine since they wont let me post links here. I was trying to show you where to by the S-VCM device. Let me know if you need anything else, YT is ridiculous with this crap sometimes.
@@user-rt4ct6tq3r thank you for your help. I’m doing some research on it.
Bullshit after mine blew in February. Do I get compensated with anything?
My 20 tlx aspec engine blew this past Oct had to have the engine replaced at 79k warranty covered it.
@saltmaker5353 no warning, just started to rattle like crazy.
@saltmaker5353 started off in low rpms for a day. Then the next day was vakentines day and it sounded like marbles in a Pringle can at all rpm levels. Drove it to the Acura dealer and after about 45 mins they told me the engine oil was full but black, which perplexed me because I stay on top of maintenance. This was my dream car so I babied it.
He said yes you do.
