    Just to clear things out,
    True ribs: 1st to 7th
    False ribs: 8th to10th rib
    Floating ribs: 11th and 12th rib
    Typical ribs: 3rd to 9th rib
    Atypical ribs: 1st, 2nd, 10th to 12th ribs

    Good Dr Arun , good approach, sometimes one has to dig answers from students, as they know but unable to express , even this methid of teaching is also praiseworthy

    Sir ,respiratory rate 18 and breathing rapid and shallow?could you please clear my confusion?

      Rapid shallow breathing 1. Acidosis(quiet tachypnoea)2. Intracranial lesion but here it should have been shallow first due to pain and then rapid to maintain munute ventilation
