Can't get over how well & good Ray Bolger looks here for 1967. He played the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz in 1939. I believe he could still dance just as good by this time & for years after this. He was simply amazing. Sadly, we lost Ray in 1987, he certainly lived Judy Garland out & Eve Arden was wonderful too & was great in Grease.
For "Fin" I guess an obvious clue would be "Huckleberryyyyy" (of course they don't care about spelling as long as phonetically the contestant gets it right)
It's like any appearance on any show, they usually got paid per appearance and I seem to remember that back in the 60s there was an actor/actress that made the comment they were paid about $250 an appearance...or basic, "scale" for an actor. IOW, I don't think it made a difference how big a star you were, you got paid the same fee.
I absolutely love Eve Arden! I watch her on Our Miss Brooks regularly and the Mothers in law was one of my favorite shows also.

She was great in everything!
Ray Bolger also played Barnaby in Babes in Toyland 1961.
~Eve💕Arden~ What a lovely, funny, classy lady. Loved her in the show, “Mother’s-In-Law” ❤️
Mothers-in-Law.
@@lawsonj39 Correct: it is plural, not possessive...
Always loved Eve Arden.
This was aired the day after my 2nd birthday
The Mothers in Law was a good show.
The show was very funny.
During his appearance on the show..Mr.Ludden warned Ray"Ray..please..no hand gestures".
16:20 & 16:28 GREAT clues!
Trying to figure out the ‘Ambassador to the Hot Fund’ 😂
Jajaja 😂 when bolger went fast was so funny 😅😅😅
I kinda wish the commercials weren't cut out

At least for a 2nd clue for the word "Meant" I might have gone with "Menthol."
For "Appeal" I might have tried the word "Law" (at least far down the list). I think with enough prior clues, it could be the linchpin/key :-)
Instead of Ray Bolger, the Heart Fund should have gotten Jack Haley to be their Good Will Ambassador.
"ive got" is two words
I wonder if these celebraties got paid to be on games shows.
Yup! :-)
of course

Adrian Haries Roughly $1000 for a week’s worth of these Password episodes.
Of course.
Ray sucked at the lightning round.
OMG who or what is responsible for that excessive blasting slamming bell!?
SO annoying and distracting from the game! 😡
