If you cook your food, almost all the cities are same except rentals. I am from Ramamurthy Nagar, Bangalore. If you can drive office, In our area one can rent 2bhk for around 20-25K/flat or 15-20k/Ind.House. Another 5k extra if needs 3bhk. 4 members family can survive with 50k/month incluing rental home. And spending more and more money is persoanl choice and depends on the their earning power.

Bangalore's current situation is not a result of migration influx. Thats what your govt wanted, and thats why they have given so many SEZs to IT companies, because this is what uplifts Bangalore's economy. But your govt forgot to provide right infrastructures to support such growth. It is a failure of your government which resulted in todays Bangalore.
Try to understand the real reason behind a problem. You want the money that comes in when people migrate to your city, but then when you fail to provide the basics and they complain, you tell them to go back? That does not work my friend.

This city was once so beautiful now even the famed Bengaluru weather has its reputation in tatters. Overpopulation is killing this city and with this kind of an exponential increase this beautiful city will become like Bombay in future. Avoid coming to Bangalore if you can find opportunities in other cities. Rent or real estate are very expensive plus infra is in shambles except for the older part of the city. Water crisis and power cuts are also rampant

It cannot be costly but govt, corportaion and rixa and cab drivers all have united to make it costilier and a tool of looting. If u travel the same distance in Ahmedabad u have to pay 30 to 40 per cent rent of cab or rixa charges or even bus fare is much less in Ahmedabad. The petro diesel l or gas price and the cabi.e. price of car/ purchase price is the same how they could charge 2.5 times to 3 times more.It is permitted loot by local authorities and govt of Karnataka.

@@JayendraPatel-zv1ro I have not experienced water issue yet but one thing is clear Banaglore will never be out of rains this year due to El-Nino rains were delayed for sanitation there is BBMP but yeah there are issues in it like most other parts of the country, it is expensive but rent and real estate is still cheaper than Mumbai, other than that cost of living is similar to most other metros .
Traffic is an issue but hopefully it could get better lot of new metro lines are getting bulit let's see .
Other than all these things Banaglore still has so many things to offer job opportunities, good education , health care , malls , pubs , parks , lakes, getaways etc.
I Find the the city minus the traffic quite convenient.

How many students are admitted in those institutes, payout of all employees are not at par with skilled and intelligent IT employees. But has to pay rent and transportation charges by all people at a very high rate.Water crisis will be worsened,I have seen the apartments very adjusant to each other.
