How to install, replace bathroom fan light timer switch.
Intermatic FD60MWC 60-Minute Spring-Wound In-Wall Countdown Timer Switch for Auto-Off control of Fans and Lights. - Jak na to + styl
I bought some "like new" timers without instructions. Your video was exactly what I needed to get the install done.
Thank you for a short and straight to the point video!
Thank you very much, this answered all my questions about how to replace a timer - great job!
I salute you and your dedication to show exactly what's needed. The only thing I would have liked to see is how the 'load' line does NOT light up, but that's just gravy. Thank you!
load wire just won't indicate on tester that it has power
Helpful! Could you show how to remove then put back on the timer knob so the switchplate can be changed? Our switchplate broke, and needs replacing, but timer knob seems stuck on. Don't want to break it!
you need to pull it with pliers or smth
So is the two wires are just being held down (straight and in contact) by the copper colored screws and tighten down?
correct, when u tighten the screw washer pushes down wire and hold it there
What should i do if i have 2 black, 2 white and a copper ground?
whites - neutral, they stay connected together. 2 blacks are in and out to the switch
Can this be used offgrid for a 12v water pump?
no it's 120V u can get low voltage timer switch
I am trying go install this same switch. What do i do with the two white wires?
nothing, neutrals stay connected together. you just run the line/power thru the switch in and out.
How about ground?
if u have it you should connect it.
Uwu
Lmao
@remoteelectrician what do you connect it to?
This was unhelpful. So little was explained.
because it is super straight forward. line to line load to load. thats it.
If you don’t understand very basic electrical Aaron, you’re going to need to learn more basics. This video was so straight to the point and tells you exactly what you need to do this installation. If you don’t know what line load hot neutral or don’t recognize the NCV detector he’s using or how to flip a breaker.. yea you’ll need to go even more basic and you probably shouldn’t do this install on your own.

HERE WE GO AGAIN MR BIG SHOT MR KNOW IT ALL MR BOASTING
MR
BEEN THERE DONE THAT
IN MY OPINION THIS VIDEO WAS VERY ON USEFUL FOR THE NOVICE EVERYDAY PERSON
Video did not show how to identify power side load side neutral side or anything that needed to be identified well maybe just a little bit but not enough why even put a video like this out there
@@craigkerr9281hire someone then
Why is he rushing through an instructional video. You can’t even see where he put the screws
sorry
@@remoteelectrician LOL. I made a product video once and people started complaining because it wasn't Hollywood quality. That made me laugh because I did it as a favor, took time out of my schedule to make it, and not get a single penny but people still complained.
