Me too
Me too
Every single Easter I think of this song. When I was a kid I sang in my church choir and we sang this song every Easter, so it has a very special place in my heart.
A beautiful Easter song, Happy Easter 2023!
2:24 This is the hymn that reminds me most of my childhood. My parents both had beautiful singing voices. 💐
JESUS CHRIST HAS RISEN TODAY ALLELUIA!!!
Thank you Jesus ✝️💖🙏
Every Resurrection Sunday we sing this song. I can't wait!
As each year passes, I feel more connected with Jesus.
Absolutely Beautiful!!! Thank you so very, very much Jesus!!!

I’m in choir and this was one of my old song.Singing it again makes me remember of the old times!
Praise JESUS !!!!!
Dear Lord I love you, thank you for saving us by your death and rising again. I am waiting for your coming glory and I am excited to see you, Amen!!!
Amen!!
Love this hymn. I heard as an entrance song while i was serving earlier at the easter sunday mass. Happy Easter to all 🥚🥚🐰
🤍you too I heard it too at the Easter baptism and sacraments (Easter Vigil) 😊
I’m 34, and this has been one of my favorite songs all my life. They left out the last verse though. Then again, it might just be the hymnals at my church with it. I see on google, they don’t include the fourth verse either lol. Either way, amazing song and day! Happy Easter!
This is my favorite Easter hymn. There is something about it that wakes me up when I have to be up at 5 am on Easter since our sunrise service is at 6:30 am. It is more awakening when you are singing it in the choir loft with trumpets behind you.
Same herr. Happy Easter!
Great song ; sung with different groups / singers too :)
Amen Allelulia
The Christmas song “Hark The Herald Angels Sing” was written to have this melody. It was only given the current melody more than a century later.
I heard this yesterday at my local Anglican Church , for Easter Sunday ❤beautiful
The importance of the Resurrection is like the only thing all Christians agree on these days. lol
This hymn goes well with Mark 16:1-8, Luke 24:13-31, and John 3:16.
I love love love this hymn so full of memories that make me cry. Oh thankyou so much for sharing this!!!
Hallelujah Amen
🕊️🙏🏼✝️Jesus is coming soon!🕊️
Such a nice song
Amen 🙏
🎉CELEBRATE JESUS, CELEBRATE!🎉
He has risen...
Yes, He has risen INDEED. Amen 🙏
For the wages of sin is death... Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, call opon the name of the Lord, and thou shalt be saved. Read John 3:16. Amen 🙏
I never liked the term "Good Friday" because dying by crucifixion just made me freak out even as a child.
TY
1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:7
Amen
Why did you change the lyric from CHRIST THE LORD to Jesus Christ? Do you deny the deity of Christ??
I always wondered about the difference in lyric?
It's just two different versions. This is the one I grew up with. The other version is what my current church sings. I miss this version, so came here looking for it.
silly girl, the methodist innovator made up the words "CHRIST THE LORD" ater this sone was already translated and modified from a Lating song well before the 1739 Wesleyan lyric(s) you are trying to be so divisive about. join me in praying harder for you and i both to get some Christ like humility and divinity be damned :)
@@eaglewings2002 which means the one that my church (well parish)sung was the one you grew up with 😮 yay! 😊
