Eiyuu - Ultraman Nexus OP [piano arrangement]/英雄 - ウルトラマンネクサス OP「ピアノ」

Hello everyone, this week I would like to upload the third arrangement from Alexis Lin Spring Piano Season 2021.
Ultraman TV series always have a special place in my heart, since they represent my childhood memories. Ultraman Gaia was 10/10 my favorite. However, I have not watched Ultraman Nexus until recently. I first heard this song in an Ultraman piano medley that my friend arranged, but it didn't grab my attention at the beginning. But as I go to listen to the original song, I became deeply attracted. Then, I instantly decided to create an arrangement for it and start watching Ultraman Nexus.
This arrangement is pretty much the most interesting one I have done recently. I tried my best to imitate the dynamic electric guitar background in the original song. [0:54]Entering the first chorus, I used difficult left-hand jumps to imitate the drumbeat.
After the first chorus [1:21], I inserted a short part of World is Mine which is originally by Hatsune Miku, arranged on piano by Animenz, and played in one of his concerts in 2016, since I want to allow this part to sound different from the intro. In the second verse, I wanted to do something different as usual. Thus, at [1:27] and [1:32], I adopted the hand-crossing technique. While it sounds good, it also looks really cool. From [1:37] to [1:56], I used my daily 3-hand technique again lol.
[1:58]At the second chorus, I did not make any big changes. I have only made a few small changes to my LH patterns, and add a bit more color to the melody.
[2:49] As usual, I created a quiet part before the finale. I also imitated Animenz's Rising Hope arrangement by using a specific quiet 3-hand technique pattern in it. Then, you know what comes next.

Awesome play! This is definitely live and energetic hahaha. It reminds me a bit to cateen's those who fight, because of the energy that it radiates.
A tip for the part at 0:26, the repeated notes, usually playing piano you want to avoid repetition, not talking about the melody but about repeating just the same rithms and notes just the same as before. That's why for example, when playing a part that just repeats the same as before you want at least to change the intensity and speed to change the feeling. In that way the song gets more interesting, instead of throwing two times the same thing.
A great example of that when arranging is animenz's colors or my dearest, colors repeats the same melody like 4 times, and my dearest is literally 10 minutes straight of the same melody repeating again and again, but each time they are played in a different way, so the listener never looses the interest.
So in that part, maybe the first time you could just play the single notes to keep it simple, and when playing it for a second time alternate between the single note and double note, like Eb; C + Eb; Eb; C + Eb instead of just playing the same note 17 times. That's what came to my mind, but I'm sure there are lots of ways of doing it. And for the rest, you use a lot of interesting patterns and techniques, I love the one at 2:09! Keep that amazing work!
