Some of her brushes are priced similarly to other brushes, but $48 to for a face brush? Those are Wayne Goss and Kevyn Aucoin prices. But the difference is, they are established artists and Kylie is not a makeup artist at all. So it's not the price of the brush that bothers me, her thinking she has authority to charge these prices is problematic for me. Thank you Laura for your review!

Heres my issue. Kylie is just a girl, fortunate enough to be a product of a wealthy family, who has dipped her foot in whatever fashion barrel she wants. She is by no means a makeup artist who has worked her whole life to build a makeup brand. Yeah she might occassionally go and make sure its the colors she wants or tell them the formula, products, whatever she wants but she cants say shes the same as theee top dog, top tier makeup artists/brands bc shes just no5. I mean even her fashion is rip offs of huge companies or music influencers, etc. She just says "i like this" and her team runs and makes it happen and throws her name on it with a big ol price tag. The only qork i see her doing is going from interview to interview and a couple runways in between. She cant get mad at the feedback either.

Girl, the wet n wild silver holiday collection look exactly like these, except they have a point at the bottom instead of square. They are super soft, and I love them. They are cruelty free of course, and only 30 dollars for the 10 piece set. Hell to the no, I wouldn't buy those Kylie brushes for 300. Your just paying for her name, and wet n wild are stepping it up on their products. The silver brushes with the white synthetic hairs are so bomb!

The difference between sigma and Kylie’s brand is that sigma’s an established brand and hers isn’t. She shouldn’t be charging so much as a brand that hasn’t established itself in the makeup world. It just comes off as her using her name to justify the pricing and that just doesn’t deserve any respect.
