    Watching your content to have a leg up competitors. Gotta flip higher and be more explosive on my powermoves. Thanks a lot.

    Interesting choice for warm ups. I usually focus on steching dynamically for mobility and isometrics for stability. Some of them are the world’s greatest stretch, goblet squat stretch, prayer stretch, various hamstrings and inner thigh stretches, mcgill big 3, high plank, low plank with shrugs, back plank and side planks. Edit: The warm up prior to those stretches is either a 5 minute sauna or 10 minutes of cardio.

    You want to become more explosive? Then start using the conjugate system.. Dynamic effort, using accomodating resistance, is the greatest way to become more explosive since f=m x a.

    Duck hops and walks are very similar to the work i do as a sumo wrestler, but taken to athe extreme, not just little hops like that, but all sorts of multidirectional drill and jumps and explosive movements in a similar deep position. Nothing makes me feel as powerful in my movement and explosive as that style of training. Watch some footage of Ozumo stable full training might see some stuff thats interesting in their traditional movements.

    • @adtjtjdjsj
      @adtjtjdjsj Před 14 hodinami

      Why should an athlete use power cleans? They have ZERO carryover to sports, it would be smarter to use the sumo deadlift, squat etc with accomodating resistance to become more explosive

    • @deandremason2457

      @@adtjtjdjsj 😂😂 and yet every D1 football program uses them in strength programs. You’re not as smart as you think you are. I do them and they 100% translate to sport power and explosiveness

    Juice ain't worth the squeeze on deadlifts, too much ego for most lifters and not enough mind muscle control/connection. Love the rest of it though

      @@WillK1349. you should work on your deadlift form then, to make it less lower back driven and more glute/hamstring driven. Try using trap bar variation or dumbbell single arm deadlift and focus on your trunk and glutes mainly.

      @@WillK1349.as an athlete it's stupid not to deadlift. Just think about the following question: Which muscles are used in order to accelerate/run? Hint: It's not the quadriceps
