Nightrider by Richard Meyer - Orchestra (Score & Sound)

This thrilling piece is reminiscent of Schumann's character pieces for young musicians. Written in a minor mode, its melody reinforces F and C naturals and gives young players more experience in 3/4 meter. The piece uses both A minor and A major, and offers a chance at a simple col legno bowing. Students will love the mysterious tonality and driving rhythms. Highly entertaining and educational at the same time!
