  • Episode 244. Tony Marsico is a true rock n roll legend. The outstanding bass player and songwriter moved from Philadelphia to Los Angeles and it didn't take long for him to find himself in The Plugz, a band that was part of a blossoming punk scene in the late seventies. When The Plugz spilt up, he stayed with fellow members and formed Cruzados, who were signed to Arista Records by the great Clive Davis. He went on to play with Matthew Sweet for ten years and has played with numerous bands and on numerous records with multiple artists, including his own lounge band, The Martini Kings, who have released 25 albums. He has also written four books and produced two films and did we mention that Tony reformed Cruzados and they sound as great as ever. Fun guest with a true rock n roller, enjoy!
