Hey, I'm the creator of VerseLocker. Your comment about the clunky interface challenged me to improve the app in this area. I just rolled out a big update that should make the app simpler to navigate. Hope you like it!

Great review! I know it wasn’t mentioned in here, but I really like to use Verisfy. It’s a newer one that has a clean interface and is completely free

Thanks for this Wayne, very informative!! I am looking for an app for memorizing books of the Bible; not just verses - any recommendations? I have been memorizing for many years and just recently got Remember Me but don't find it so good for long passages. Thx

Most of my verses are 4-5 verse chunks in the app. I’ve seen folk use this app and just break books/chapters into small sections.
      Thanks for the kind words.

"Remember me' is a good app on android. I don't know if iPhone has it.

If you memorize the Bible, you' will memorize many of the flaws in the Bible. Now if you're smart enough to know the difference - good for you. Sadly, most don't.

You must be smart to know what are the flaws of the Bible. Can you point them out?

@@Jules-740 The bible is a book mostly written by men who never even met the people they wrote about (many years after). It is also heavily edited and censored by a church that had a power and politics agenda, eliminating around 14 books (the Apocrypha). In addition, there isn't just one Christian bible - there are at least three with different numbers of chapters. There exists no provable, fact-based evidence to support any of the supernatural (spiritual) events in it. Thus, it is pure human belief - a human emotion and dependent on as many human thoughts as there are humans. To believe without factual evidence is like saying a court case should be determined by only hearsay or a feeling. It's hard to think God wouldn't hold humans to a standard that they hold themselves.
      A few items that aren't accurate --
Scientists have found evidence Sodom and Gomorra were destroyed by an earthquake or flood. There is no such species as a talking snake. Science has long ago shown that a tiny DNA pool results in massive genetic deformations (specifically Adam & Eve's grandchildren). Evidence shows that Jericho was destroyed by an earthquake, not by trumpets. The ten plagues were accounted for by a volcano. Geologists have discovered strata that prove ancient floods were not worldwide but many of them localized in different areas. The miracles attributed to Jesus can be duplicated by magicians on You Tube (Xavier Mortimer, Magic of Rahat, Julien Magic, David Blaine). There is no evidence to prove dragons ever existed (Revelation). Two times (Gen 2 & 3) God threatens Adam & Eve that if they eat the fruit they will die. They didn't die. God lied.
Whales, in general, are not capable of swallowing a human being. Blue whales and other baleen whales like it have a small esophagus that span only a few centimeters. A sperm whale could swallow you whole, but you'd pretty soon get digested in its four-chambered stomach, or suffocate from the lack of oxygen
